It combines a nitrate removal cartridge (NR600) with a general purpose cartridge (IX600) to efficiently reduce nitrates as well as chlorine, heavy metals, and other pollutants. The NR600 selectively removes nitrates and nitrites while the IX600 removes chlorine, heavy metals, dissolved organics, and more down to 5 microns. Replacement is recommended every 6 months for the IX600 and when the NR600 reaches exhaustion or 6 months. The system is 350mm high, 270mm wide, 110mm deep and can process up to 3 litres per minute

    GENERAL PURPOSE WATER FILTER SYSTEM
    System Overview
    Pozzani have combined a nitrate removal cartridge - NR600,
    with a general purpose cartridge - IX600 to achieve efficient
    nitrate reduction together with the reduction of chlorine,
    dissolved organics, heavy metals and a wide range of other
    pollutants.
    This combination of cartridges makes our twin system one of
    the most cost effective methods of achieving efficient nitrate
    reduction and reducing many other unhealthy and unpleasant
    tasting chemicals and metals.

    Cartridges and Performance


    NR600 Cartridge contains a special anion exchange resin
    designed to selectively remove nitrate (NO3) and nitrite
    (NO2). Removal efficiency decreases as the cartridge
    approaches exhaustion. Nitrate levels over 50mg/l (ppm)
    will usually need more frequent cartridge changes. (High
    nitrate users should also consider our RO system with
    nitrate selective cartridges).
    IX600 General purpose multi-stage cartridge will remove
    chlorine, heavy metals, dissolved organics, oestrogens
    etc. Dirt and suspended solids are removed down to 5
    microns.
