A) What is Voice Modulation?
Voice modulation is the skill which helps you to understand the mean of
the word to express it correctly while speaking. It helps you to decorate
your sentence with the expression, proper emotions, perfect use of pitch.

B) Type pf Voice modulations

1. Pace: Pace is the speed of your speech. Your pace should be

such that it is understandable by your audience. You may have to
change your pace from slow to fast or vice versa but whatever it
be, it should sound good to your audience. Speaking too quickly is
a mistake in public speaking. Keep your pace slower than the pace
we have when converse one to one. Give pauses at important
points. This will help the listeners to be able completely absorb
what you said.
2. Volume: Your volume should be loud enough so that your
audience can hear you clearly but at the same time being loud
does not mean shouting. It is also seen that the volume at which
you would be speaking, your audience would also adapt that same
volume. On the key sentences or key words, it is good to raise
your voice (no shouting). You sound clear and strong when you
are loud.
3. Pitch: You would get more depth as you would go deeper. Try not
to stress your vocal chords too much. Be comfortable with your
pitch. Practice increasing your pitch from oral track to vocal chord.
In public speaking, it is advised to keep your pitch a little lower as
shrilling voice can be annoying.
4. Tone: It means connecting words with feelings by bringing ups
and downs of words. Your feelings give words to you and you
modulate your voice according to your feelings.
C) How to concur effective voice modulation

1. Record your voice: listen to it and see how flat it is.

2. Sing along technique: Pick your favourite English song. Listen to
the way the singer sings and try to imitate and record yourself
singing. Now listen and compare both. Pick Ed Sheeran.

3. Pitch your voice: if your voice is low, do the loud reading

techniques. Read from 3 steps back and read a passage. See how
clear you are. If you cannot hear each word clearly, read again in a
louder voice.
4. Pace balance: read for 2 mins. Add 5 seconds.
5. Pause for a cause: read a passage newspaper, at a comma
count 1 in your head and read again. At a full stop count 2 and
move on... do this daily for 10 minutes.
6. Tune your Tone: Try to repeat my tone in this passage.
