microscope and how does each
part function?
2. How do you use the microscope?
C. Presenting examples/ Let the students watch the video about Let the students watch the video about
instances of the new lesson “The Amazing Microscopic World” the different parts of microscope.
D. Discussing new concepts and ACTIVITY 1

See attachment on the next page.
E. Discussing new concepts and
practicing new skill #2
F. Developing Mastery Essential Questions:
What are the parts of the microscope and
how does each part function?
G. Finding practical applications of Microscopy in Biotechnology:
concepts & skills in daily living Recent biotechnologies which allows us
to live a more comfortable life.

Biotechnology is responsible for

advancements in agriculture, medicine,
pharmaceuticals, marine/aquatic life,
industrial processes as well as
consumable goods and so is of a daily
impact in our lives.
One of the most essential
tools contributing to it's success
is the microscope.
H. Making generalizations & abstractions
about the lesson
