    INTRODUCTION TO FARM

    ; Started on a small scale, back in 2005 with farmers from Gunipalli determining to work together

    for their shared benefit. Gunipalli is in Bukkapatnam Mandal in Anantapur District, AP. Farmers

    do not get the deserved profit for their produce after months of turmoil during their crop season.

    A few unknowns from a then small NGO called the Centre for Collective Development (CCD)

    took initiative to help farmers fulfil their ambitions.

    There are now almost 25,000 + farmers working collectively across 3 districts. The undertaking is
    slowly diffusing to different other states as well.

    The saying, “Farmveda – owned by the farmers of India” is a long term goal stating that, although
    now only the profit of their production is returned to them, yet to come , they will be named owners
    as well.
