FOUNDED IN 2011

History

In 2011, the Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines (IECEP LPU-CSC) was
formed as a sub-organization of LPUESS, which consist of different engineering and computer
studies program. This sub-organization was formed to implement seminars and events inside and
outside the university to enhance the skills and knowledge of EcE students in Lyceum of the
Philippines University – Cavite. The Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines –
Lyceum of the Philippines Cavite Student Chapter (IECEP LPU-CSC) was founded by Engr.
Saturnino Perlas and Engr. Felbert Castañaday.

In year 2017, IECEP LPU-CSC was no longer under LPUESS and stoo d as an
independent organization. Through connections and linkages, the IECEP LPU-CSC became part
of the affiliated schools of IECEP Cavite Student Chapter, a world class organization for globally-
competitive electronics professionals. IECEP LPU-CSC is continuously conducting events and
seminars for the members with the help of the current officers and adviser, Engr. Felbert
Castañaday and co-adviser, Engr. Den Whilrex Garcia.

The IECEP LPU - CSC aims to promote and uphold academic excellence among its
members. It also aims to develop a sense of unity among the Electronics Engineering students of
Lyceum of the Philippines University – Cavite, to instill a sense of responsibility among the
Electronics Engineering students in serving the whole academic community in general and the
organization in particular and to disseminate vital technical information in order to develop a well-
rounded professional.

Affiliation is effective for one school year only. Renewal of affiliation must be meet
annually. It includes scanned receipt of affiliation fee of 1000.00php. Student and officer
membership is 150.00 php and is also effective for one academic year only.
