Define a smart governance?

SMART Governance” is about the future of the public services, it’s about greater efficiency,
community leadership, mobile working and continuous improvement through innovation.

Define a smart economy?

A smart economy is an economy using smart money & smart payment tools, to modify the
classical way for an economic system to operate. The smart economy can change the traditional
way to define, a payment, a price, a tax rate, a yield, an interest rate, an fx rate, parameter
investment rules, parameter financing rules, parameter growth definition, and thus create a global
economy managed by programmable rules defined by democracy, collective intelligence, or
centralized power (democratic or authoritarian).

Define a Smart Human?

A human having complete logical reasoning skills and successfully applying them to solve
political, social, economic, and scientific problems and/or having emotional intelligence.

Define a Smart Environment?

Cook and Das[2]

Smart environment as "a small world where different kinds of smart device are continuously
working to make inhabitants' lives more comfortable." Smart environments aim to satisfy the
experience of individuals from every environment, by replacing the hazardous work, physical
labor, and repetitive tasks with automated agents. Poslad[3] differentiates three different kinds of
smart environments for systems, services and devices: virtual (or distributed) computing
environments, physical environments and human environments, or a hybrid combination of
these:

 Virtual computing environments enable smart devices to access pertinent services

anywhere and anytime.
 Physical environments may be embedded with a variety of smart devices of different
types including tags, sensors and controllers and have different form factors ranging from
nano- to micro- to macro-sized.
 Human environments: humans, either individually or collectively, inherently form a smart
environment for devices. However, humans may themselves be accompanied by smart
devices such as mobile phones, use surface-mounted devices (wearable computing) and
contain embedded devices (e.g., pacemakers to maintain a healthy heart operation
or AR contact lenses).

Define A Smart Mobility?

Smart mobility refers to using modes of transportation alongside or even instead of owning a
gas-powered vehicle. This can take on many different forms, including ride-sharing, car-sharing,
public transportation, walking, biking, and more. The need for Smart mobility arose out of
increasing traffic congestion and its related side effects, including pollution, fatalities, and
wasted time.

Define a smart living?

Smart Living as a trend involves improved standards in several aspects of day-to-day life,
ranging from domiciles, workplaces and the way people are transported within cities. Within the
context of construction of buildings, the trend can be identified through the growing existence of
innovative, quicker, cheaper and more efficient construction technologies, materials, processes
and concepts.

Write a note on VIP (vehicle infrastructure pedestrian)

Vehicle-infrastructure-pedestrian (VIP) environment and big data have made it easier and
cheaper to collect, store, analyze, use, and disseminate multi-source data. A connected VIP
environment also makes the system more flexible so that real-time management and control
measures can be implemented to improve system performance. With a connected
environment, vehicles, infrastructure, and pedestrians can exchange information, either through a
peer-to-peer connectivity protocol or a centralized system via a 4G or more telecommunication
network (VIP environment). Such technology is regarded as one of the most potentially
disruptive technologies for the urban eco-system. The interaction and exchange
of information can occur vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V), vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I), pedestrian-to-
infrastructure (P2I), or vehicle-to-pedestrian (V2P). Given the benefits of a connected
environment, and considering its unique characteristics, it is crucial to understand how
current systems could be adapted to work with the connected environment.
