1. As a Filipino and as a consumer, how do you feel about the story?

One of the basic needs of people, is food. It is essential for us because without it,
we will become malnourished and even starve to death. Upon seeing the video, I have
become fully aware of what is happening in our world. A lot of homeless and less
fortunate individuals are suffering from hunger and some of us, who are lucky and
blessed enough to eat three times daily, are somehow taking it for granted. I felt
sorrowful for the unlucky ones, because the leftovers and residues of people in the fast
foods and restaurants are valuable to them and they cherish these with an open heart.
They don’t care if it’s already consumed by other people and are usually halfway done,
as long as they have eaten. As a consumer, I have realized the importance of food and
the effects when you don’t give enough significance in it. However, I was seemingly
touched, inspired and was uplifted to the scenarios in the clip.

2. What is its main message to you?

The main message of the film, is for us to give importance to what we have in our
lives and do not take anything for granted. Most people who are less fortunate and are
underprivileged do not have enough chance and opportunity to what we are
experiencing and having in our lives right now. We may think that we are out of luck,
but actually, there are more people out there who are unluckier than us. Before we
neglect the important things in life, we must always ponder and reflect on how do we
live without having it all. Can we survive? For how long? Do we have what it takes in
sustaining our daily health? Mostly children and even adults are the primary victims of
hunger and poverty in the world. Some haplessly die in this scenario and we are
unconscious on what’s really happening in our world. Therefore, we must habitually
and consistently give significance to whatever we have that others don’t.
