1.What is your idea about the “WORLD OF CLINICAL PRACTICE” you envisioned yourself to be?

To serve as a medicine staff or personnel is truly a hard job. Assurance that the patients should be
treated properly is a must. Your life is at risk because you’re liable when something happens terribly to
patients to your improper practice. So, I think this “World of Clinical Practice” is a worldwide standard
with rigorousness created by the association of doctors of different countries. This must be a guideline
that a hospital should follow that requires implementing the clinical protocols, facilities that would surely
support the patients, and at least an intensive training for staff. In this practice, tries to create a home for
patients with a high quality service. For me, this should be practice seriously and properly. Why?
Because this means a lot not just to me because if I don’t possess the guidelines or the matrix of this
practice I could risk the life of my patient.

2. Why did you choose this career?

Way back to my precious years as a kid, I am truly exposed to the hospital. In my young age, I see a lot of
nurses and doctors wearing white lab gowns and uniforms. I also enjoy watching them practicing their
jobs and responsibilities. The dedication and hard work of them somewhat affects my future profession
because of them I dreamed to be either a nurse or doctor. Now, I’m in the age where I should make my
decision concrete and clearly, I officially announcing that I will take Nursing as my pre-med course in
college. Why? Not just because it’s my dream profession but I wanted to help those people who needed
medical assistance, I want to save their lives like the doctors and nurses who saved my life when I was
bitten by a dog, when a surgery was needed to stop the bleeding from my eyebrows, and when my life is
in danger back to the days where I was confined with dengue. Now, I think it’s my time to save my
countrymen.

3. What are the important skills, abilities, and qualities you need to have to be effective in the job?

Today, to work in a certain company immense skills are needed for you to shine and be ranked as the
employee of the month. But the question needs the skills, abilities and qualities of an employee should
have to be effective in his or her job. Still, immense or enormous skills are needed, like how you
communicate to the persons around you this skill could help an employee to be a good customer related
personnel if he or she also possesses a great attitude towards others. In the hospital, communication is
also needed because if you don’t know how to talk properly to your patients, I guess you can’t elaborate
the kind of disease that they have or you cannot ask them what they’re feeling inside. To be an effective
employee you should know how to work under pressure, we defined pressure as a stress or an urgency
of attention relating to a matter. Working under pressure could increase an individual’s productivity rate,
organized or focused thoughts, and especially it can bring out one’s potential. Lastly, is the patience, in
the medicine field patience is a virtue. Why? Having patience looks or makes a person a professional.
With that kind of quality we can say that a person has a great understanding, perseverance, and
dedication to his or her own work. --------------
