CLASSIFICATION Manager
Role Purpose
As part of the mission of the Catholic Church in the Diocese of Parramatta (CEDP), the Manager
Entrepreneurial Partnerships is accountable for establishing and developing strategic partnerships with
business, tertiary education and community stakeholders to drive a practice of entrepreneurship and
create opportunities for college students.
Key Accountabilities
FUNCTION SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
The Manager Entrepreneurial Partnerships is accountable for:
● Leading a culture and practice of entrepreneurship that is both employment focused and
innovation driven
● Building strategic relationships with externally sourced industry experts and mentors to work with
students and their parents/carers both within and beyond the college
● Sourcing, establishing and consolidating strategic, mutually beneficial partnerships with
businesses for the purpose of enhancing student learning and employment opportunities
● Exploiting business relationships to build and launch in-house commercial and community
ventures
● Initiating ongoing partnerships with universities, tertiary institutions and other organisations to
investigate and create learning pathways for students as well as finding and tracking internships
and other external learning experiences for students
● Leading in collaboration with other college leaders and staff in delivering these services to
students
● Supporting leaders and teachers in their work with students in identifying areas of interest and
then facilitating their engagement in relevant opportunities
● Leading relevant professional learning for leaders and staff
People development
● Provide mentoring, regular performance feedback and coaching for staff in the relevant service
team with a focus on continuous learning that is aligned with the culture and values of CEDP
Risk and compliance
● Monitor and manage key accountabilities, standards and processes within the relevant service
team to mitigate risk
● Contribute to the development of procedures and best practice guidelines within the relevant
service team and ensure compliance with policies and legislative requirements

Typical Experience and Qualifications
● Tertiary qualification in a relevant area of study or equivalent experience
● Management and leadership experience
● Stakeholder management experience
● Negotiation, conflict management and interpersonal skills
Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta is a modern working environment that requires the agility of
