ACTION RESEARCH PROPOSAL

Topic: Tardines
I: Title
Develop Self-Discipline Among Students of San Roque Catholic School for The Effect of Students in
Tardiness

II: Intoduction
This research project explores why some students find tardy on the years of highschool stage and
find on how they will overcome the tardiness and finding the corrective solution.

III: Objectives
1. It is certain why others are late for class because sometimes the other student are not yet
awake.
2. Students are late in the class even though they have may records in class.
3. It’s midday so you’re late to class or sometimes even close to home you’re still late to class.

IV. Significance/ Importance of the Research


 Justification for study
1. The research provide immediate needs of the Junior High School students of San Roque
Catholic School.
2. The outcome of the research would help the researcher in finding out the exact reason for
the problem.
3. The research would help the researcher with possible solutions to the problems.

V. Research Question and Hypothesis


Research Question
 Interrogative Statement
Why being late in class affect in the academic?
Hypothesis:
For me is a yes because being late in class you do not know what you are going to do to
reach the topic in other subject.
 Declarative Statement
You no longer know what topic your teacher is talking about and you are pursuing a
topic to keep you from getting confused.

VI. Benefits of the Research:


The results of the research will serve as:
a. Teacher- Teachers can benefit from it because they can also know wheather the student
is once or twice asleep in his class and that he or she can help or know what is happening
to the students.

b. Students- The students can benefit from being late in the class because they can not
repeat it anymore, they may feel that they have not yet reached the topic of their teacher
and they also benefit from it so they can avoid being caught in class.

c. School- Some students are late in going to school due to many reason that are not
understandable. When students come late in class they disturb the flow of a lecture and
discussion, disturb other students. Instead being focused on the beginning of class
procedures.

VII. Instrumentation and Methodology


 The methods section must be guided by the research question of the study.
 It also dependent on the nature of research study
 Observational = phenomena are described
 Correlational = covariation of two or more variables
 True Experiment = experimental and control groups
 Experimental = naturally formed groups

 It provides the information needed for another competent researcher to repeat the
work.
 It establishes credibility for the results and should therefore provide enough
information about how the work will be/was done for readers to evaluate the results

a. Interview
 Identifying the interviewee
 Formulating question for the interviewee
 Setting an appointment with the interviewee

b. Survey Questionnaire
 Identifying the respondents
 Formulating questions related to problem that leads to the solutions of the problem
 Have the questionnaire checked and approved by the mentor/research
 As soon as the questionnaire is approved , have the respondents answer the survey
form.
