Recommendations:
1) Education
In India, the literacy rate stands at 74.04% (according to the National Census,2011)
and the country is still struggling with the problem of illiteracy, especially in the rural
areas. Employees of Flour India, can volunteer to provide education to
underprivileged children through active engagement in the rudimentary areas.
While we are still a long way from achieving the goal of universal elementary
education even adult illiteracy has a catalyst effect on it. Illiterate adults tend to
underestimate the importance of education and are also less likely to send their
children to pursue higher education. The most influential tool required to break the
vicious intergenerational cycle of abuse, malnutrition, poverty and oppression is
education and thus it requires a lot of attention.
2) Environment check
The construction industry is a major source of pollution, responsible for around 4% of
particulate emissions. Aggravating water pollution incidents, noise complaints, soil
pollution are observed every year in this industry than any other.
Around 2/3 of India’s population resides in rural areas. Flourishing rural areas are
vital to regional and national development. Education, entrepreneurship, and physical
and social infrastructure all play an important role in developing rural regions. Skills
are central to improving employability and livelihood opportunities and thereby
reducing poverty. This enhances productivity and promotes environmentally
sustainable development. The employees can conduct extensive week long workshops
