The Book Of John John 3:1-6

for educators
Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. This man came to
Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God, for no one
can do these signs that you do unless God is with him”. Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to
you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Nicodemus said to Him, “How can
a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”
Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot
enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the
Spirit is spirit.”
There’s a Word for that! Authority
6

As Christian educators, we serve the Lord first and in so doing we are under His authority and
those who are in authority over us. Even when we do not agree with those in charge, it is our
charge to submit to authority. God will be the ultimate judge.

Romans 13:1– Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority
except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God.

by your ultimate authority. We ask this in the

Meditation for the month

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on
its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the
truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7
