Category Manager – Kids Lifestyle Brand GUMDROPS
Key Highlights:
• Over 25% growth in the annual top-line by careful product selection, adjusted width/depth of
the assortment/sizes and over 3% increase in Net Margins by proper intake strategy and
markdown management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Delivering the brand, profit by managing the merchandise planning and driving sales strategy.
• Working closely with Product Development and Production teams to ensure the availability of
right product mix at all times.
• Product selection from range and buying as per the Open to Buy.
• Worked on brand positioning, pricing and margin strategy.
• Have streamlined the procurement by working in partnership with the production teams and
ensuring that our dedicated vendors are perennially fed.
• Closely studying the fashion trend across competition and providing product related
feedback and identifying the assortment gap in our current universe of products.

Inventory Planning – Home Décor & Kids
Key Responsibilities:
• Playing a key role in effectively managing the two categories with a diverse product range of
luxury goods (approx. sale 30 Cr.) across PAN India region and International locations.
• Key responsible for Inventory Management, allocations and replenishments.
• Key responsibilities include meeting budgetary targets (sales/margin/inventory demand
planning, OTB management and assortment planning (ABC analysis) across locations
• To create demand plan considering factors like business projections, sales forecast,
inventory flow and trend analysis (pre/post season).
• To create distribution plan (SKU level) & ensure timely dispatches as per the release plan.
• Key responsible for stock ageing analysis & planning of timely liquidation of the aged /
slow moving inventory.
• To identify gap in the merchandise & suggest alternatives.
