Instrumentation Cables: Application | Product Range | Technical Data

Cables with annealed plain copper conductor conforming to IEC 60228 and insulated with Polythene
insulation as per BS:6234, cores twisted to form a pair and with or without overall screening of
Aluminium polyester tape with tinned copper drain wire and overall PVC sheathed , with or without
armour conforming to BS:5308- Part 1 and Part 2.

APPLICATION
Instrumentation cables are widely used in all industries in ‘process control’ equipments, and
spreading towards all industrial applications for carrying , communicating signals of voice and data,
interconnection of equipments and instruments in particular to those located in plants where the
transducer generated signals are transmitted to panels. Clear signals are provided from
electromagnetic interference, with the protection of electrical screening.

Instrumentation cables are more suitable for fixed installation, where there is no risk of mechanical
damage. Armoured versions are available on request.
