OBJECTIVE By the end of this lesson, students should be able to
1. Differentiate the use of past tense and future tense when writing about one selves
2. Personalize their own writing based on their past experiences.
3. Present personal information by writing a short essay about a mistake they’ve
made in life.

BACKGROUND In the last lesson, students have learnt about:

ACTIVITIES 1. The main objective of this activity is to get student familiarize with writing activity
after months of break. This activity will also help me to identify weak students
based on their writing.
2. The activity starts with a short presentation by the teacher. Teacher shows student
sample of facebook post on the internet. This post is to show students that they
can learn and practice writing even after school. Not just for the sake of
homework.
3. Teacher explains the importance of identifying mistake and how it will affects
their life.
4. Teacher asks students to list down all of their mistakes in the paper as well as the
negative things which they want to change for the better.
5. Using the list, students are instructed to write a 70 words essay. This essay should
be in continuous form. However, they can use any interactive template to improve
their writing experience. Teacher allows students to use facebook post if they
have access to the internet but the post need to be readily available for viewing
and evaluation by teacher.
