Differentiate the following:

a. Data are the facts or details gathered or collected in order to have an information. Data are unorganized,
random and need to be process for it to become useful. While information is the idea or knowledge that you get from
the data collected. This is the data that is processed, organized or structured.

b. Input device sends information to another device but it cannot receive data from other devices. While output
device receives data and displays that information as text, images, and sounds for users to view or hear.

c. Web is a collection of information which is accessed by the internet. While internet is a global or massive
network of networks. It connects millions of computer to communicate with any other computer as long as they are
connected to the internet.

d. Wired networks is used to carry different forms of electrical signals. It is consist of cables, cables that can be
copper wire, twisted pair of fiber optic. While wireless network technologies does not use wires for data or voice
communication. It uses radio frequency waves such as electromagnetic and infrared waves to share information and
resources between devices.

e. Memory refers to the component within your computer that allows you to access data that is stored for a short
term. While storage refers to the component of your computer that allows you to access data on a long-term. It allows
you to kept data for an indefinite period of time.

2. For me, the best type of computer to use is laptop. Why? because it is more convenient than computer though tablet
is also convenient, laptop is more equipped than tablet and it is best use for research because it uses battery unlike to
a computer that it needs to be plug on a current or electricity. Laptop can be used anywhere as long as we have an
internet connection we can do anything just like projects, assignments and any other.

3. The purpose of a browser is that it displays videos, images, music and other things stored in computer intended for
the users. While for search engine is that it search documents for specified keywords and other things that need to be
understand clearly. And the purpose of online social network is that it helps the user to update their accounts or any
other application so that that they can easily access to the site they wanted to find.

4. In terms of education society uses technology by means of acquiring knowledge. They uses computer to keep them
abreast of advancement in the industry. For government, it helps by disseminating various reports, various email
functions and others in which it is big help for them in their task. Finance and retail uses technology for record keeping.
It also helps them to keep large amounts of data and manage financial transactions in the computer. Entertainment
uses it in promoting new products, services and also for their graphic or layout for their new products. Technology is a
big help in healthcare because it used to keep patient files and help the doctor to interface with more advance scanning
equipment. Science uses technology for their school reports, research and it is a big help for a scientist or inventors
to understand the world around us. Travel also uses technology by purchasing their ticket easily and by printing out
the web for the traveller especially the pilot. And for the publishing, it uses technology by publishing the book, magazine,
films and also for the graphic designer in developing the pages that include text graphic and photos. Indeed technology
is really a big help to us. It becomes an integral part in our daily living as we can do our things more easier.
