NOTICE

Sub: NAD NDML Student Registration – National Institute of Technology Durgapur.

National Academic Depository (NAD) is a significant initiative of the Government. of India , Ministry of
Human Resource Development to facilitate issuance and storage of academic awards to the students in an
online depository system.

NAD will develop an online portfolio of all education certificates across Academic Institutes of the country
which can be submitted easily for employment, higher education, and loan and is easily trusted and verified.

NAD integrates directly with Institutes / Boards / Universities which issue certificates and hence ensures
authenticity of certificate records.

The bonafide students of the Institute are advised to register on NAD so that they can access their Digital
Certificates.

 Student can register using NAD ID Registration with Aadhaar.

 Student can register using NAD ID Registration without Aadhar.

 NAD ID Registration (with Aadhaar Registration):

This is a simple and quick process.

Students can download his/her other record from UIDAI and need to upload his/her Aadhaar XML.

Fill few additional details to complete NAD registration.

NAD ID is issued immediately.

 NAD ID Registration (without Aadhaar Registration):

Students need to register on NAD and generate their unique NAD ID.
Following are the easy methods of student registration:
This requires student to declare all details on NAD portal.
Acknowledgement Number is generated.

The Institute will review and approve the details as entered by the individual student.
After the Institute approves the registration, NAD ID is issued.

It is to note that the passport sized photo and signature of the student needs to be uploaded in JPG / JPEG / TIFF
format with size ranging between 4KB - 15 KB (Including both).

Further name/nomenclature of the file containing photo and signature should be preferably of not more than 20
characters. No special characters allowed in names of file of photo and signature to be uploaded by a student during
registration.

It has to be ensured that the above requirements with respect to the format, size and file nomenclature of photo and
signature meets the above requirement

The student will be using Google Chrome and is having a functional internet connection.

 Student will be given an Acknowledgement No. on registering on NAD.

 Student has to provide this Acknowledgement No. to Academic Section by 04/09/2019 (in a format as given -
to be submitted during Institute working days from 04.00 pm to 05.00 pm).
 The Institute will verify the details of registration as entered to confirm or reject.
 On confirmation, the NAD ID will be generated for the individual student.
 The NAD ID has to be added by the individual student while going for Odd Semester online registration
2019-2020 slotted during September 04, 2019 to September 16, 2019.
