Amazon Inferno: Tragedy or a deliberate attempt?

Wildfires are common in the dry season, it is usually caused by searing heat from the sun.
Because of less humidity, a light material spontaneously combust and ferment, which in result
burns its self. Then the fire spreads and burns everything. Furthermore, this phenomenon can
also be caused by the purposive action of humans, turning parts of a region into farming areas
or in some other cases, for mineral exploration.

The Amazon rainforest catches fire every year and it is mostly due to dry air causing dry fuel to
combust but the current wildfire is different. While the Amazon rainforest is typically wet and
humid, it is impossible for this natural fire to occur, unless there is human intervention.

Not to point out some certain names but, there was an alleged conspiracy about the Brazilian
Government sought to drill oil on a half a million acres of land in Amazon. Fortunately, an
indigenous Amazon tribe, Waorani, won a case against their government to halt oil drilling last
May 2019. Then after a few months, this happened.

Additionally, a group of conservationists blamed the country's president, Jair Bolsonaro, for the
current Amazon issue, saying he has encouraged illegal loggers and farmers to clear the land.
Since becoming president, Bolsonaro has opposed protections for the rainforest, and he aimed
to use the land for agriculture and mining.

Yet, this issue doesn’t indicate to the President of Brazil only but also to the rest of the world.
The case of Amazon has left everyone a serious matter, when Notre Dame Cathedral was on
fire there was a worldwide outcry and there was immediate information from the media. But
now that the largest rainforest on the planet is on fire, why is there not the same level of
outrage? This is a concern crucial to everyone, howsoever, there must be a substantial purpose
behind this controversy.

And this is not only indicated for him but also to the rest of the world. When Notre Dame
Cathedral was on fire there was a worldwide outcry and there was immediate information from
the media. But now that the largest rainforest on the planet is on fire, why is there not the
same level of outrage? Is this because of our interest? Is this because of our greediness? If not,
then there must be some substantial rationality behind this unexplainable controversy.
