Abstract
The investigation seeks to ask about marketing strategies to help the development of tourism in Tunja with the purpose
of implementing a commercialization plan so that in this way a treatment and monitoring of new commercial practices
that should be adopted in these companies in order to achieve a good economic position at the National level. Lack of
strategic sales plans make necessary characterize the tourism sector and know the strategies that have been
implemented so far and that has managed to potentiate it to finally design a marketing plan that takes into account the
experiences to be enjoyed, aspirations, tastes and preferences of the consumer affirming that the commercialization is
"a human activity directed to needs and desires through a social process of exchange that offers the buyer what he
needs and desires, creating, offering and exchanging products with value for others" (Kotler, 1976).
It is a descriptive investigation, describe the marketing used to make known the most visited sites, hotels, restaurants,
temples and other places that make the City a welcoming city with sociable people and willing to visit a site. As a
conclusion, the Tourist Marketing is effective when it comes to knowing and understanding the market, to arrive at a
really attractive, competitive, varied offer, easy to obtain customers willing to consume the product and / or service and
maintain loyalty to it.
