I studied English for 1 year in Phoenix academy and I achieved an intermediate level, a year ago, when
I was looking for a college where to study English, I was told that the quality of this school was excellent
so I chose to study there, all the year there was great I met tens of people and made a lot of friends
as well as improved my English, I really enjoyed my time here in Perth.

Now I would like to continue my course here in Perth, studying a Certificate in Patisserie and a Diploma
in Hospitality Management, these two courses will help me to get the knowledge that I need to achieve
my goals. I came from an entrepreneurial family that own pastry shops in my country, previously to
come to Australia I studied economics as a way to help me to run a business so now I would like to
learn the technical part of this business and gain knowledge and ideas that it is new for this kind of
business in my country, achieving this it will allow me to open and run my own business in a future.

Looking up deeply among different culinary schools in Perth a found one that met my needs, I decided
to go to Empyrean Education Institute because it offers me an affordable price for my studies, they
have plenty of agreements with renowned hotel and restaurants around Western Australia where I
can make my internships in, they also have their own private kitchen just for their patisserie group
that can be used for the student all the time to practice their skills and apply what learnt in class.

I worked for my oldest brother in one of his pastry shops for two years while I was studying my
bachelor in economics, here in Perth I have been working in a restaurant making desserts and pastries
for the past two months, so my decision of taking this course is going to help me to complete my
technical skills and knowledge in order to be an entrepreneur and open and run my own business once
I go back to my country. I will try to learn the most ideas, recipes and techniques and apply them in
my own business. I am applying to this visa with my husband who is greatly supporting me and looking
forward to opening our first shop together.

My husband and I don’t have any family here in Australia, our adventure to come here always has
been to get the best education for us, our plan is follow my family business whether I become a
business partner with my brother or I go independent, in that terms we always had the support of our
family both emotionally and financially to get the best for us, the expertise that I can get here is
important and transferable to a business in my country.
