to Choteau 21-16, 19-21. They wrapped Friday up with
wins over Fairfield, 21-17, 21-19, and District 2B rival
Wolf Point, 21-7, 21-16.
Saturday had the Scotties winning their first two
matches over Class C power Ennis, 21-13, 21-7, and over
another Class C squad Simms, 21-15, 18-21. Glasgow
rounded out the day with three loses, falling to Florence,

some of those matches that counted as a loss where we

Actually, the Scotties split with Choteau the second
time they met the Bulldogs, so a three game match would
have been played. They also split with Simms; however,
the tournament format has teams playing two games with
the score combining for the final score, giving Choteau
the win 40-37. The only match that had a tie-breaker was

“The beginning of the season you can only ask for

Hoerster has five seniors on her team with most of
them getting varsity experience.
“Experience-wise, we have the five seniors, two
juniors and I have a nice group of sophomores,” she said.
“I took 10 players to Choteau. Those sophomores got a ton Friday & Saturday
