If you are unable to forward the final test result to uni-assist before the end of the application
deadline, then it must be forwarded by post to the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg directly. In this case,
the confirmation that you are registered for the test (including the test date) has to be forwarded on
to uni-assist before the end of the deadline! Please forward your test result to the following
address: BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg, International Relations Office, Platz der Deutschen
Einheit 1, 03046 Cottbus, Germany. For TOEFL Test takers, please select code 3688 when
requesting for your test results to be sent to the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg.

What are my options if I do not have the required proof of language skills yet? 2
If you do not yet possess one of the abovementioned proofs of language skills, then it is
possible for you to submit along with your application a proof of being registered for an
examination which would earn you one of the proofs of language skills. In this case, a
conditional admission or a limited admission for studies may be issued. This makes it possible for
you to submit the proof of language skills at the latest at the time of enrolment.

Please be aware that it is only possible to issue admittance when a respective proof of being
registered for an examination is submitted and the date of the examination will actually make it
possible for you to receive your proof of language skills before the time of enrolment. We
regret to inform you that enrolment without proof of language skills or with proof of language
skills below the required skill level is not possible.

Applicants from countries for which a visa is required in order to study in Germany also need to be
aware that for some countries it is necessary to submit proof of language skills in a visa
application, even if one has already received a conditional admission.

2
This does not apply to the research-oriented Master Study Programme Power Engineering (M.Sc.)
