A RESOLUTION ORGANIZING THE BARANGAY DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL OF

BARANGAY SAN ANTONIO, TABACO CITY, ALBAY.

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 106 of the Local Government Code of 1991, each
local government unit shall have a comprehensive multi-sectoral development plan to be
initiated by its development council and approved by its sanggunian;

WHEREAS, the Barangay Development Council shall assist the Sangguniang

Barangay in setting the direction of economic and social development and coordinating
development efforts within its territorial jurisdiction;

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 107 (a) of the Local Government Code of 1991, the
Barangay Development Council of Barangay San Antonio, Tabaco City Albay shall be
composed of the following:

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 109 (b), the Barangay Development Council shall
exercise the following functions:

1. Mobilize people’s participation in local development efforts;

2. Prepare Barangay Development Plans based on local requirements;
3. Monitor and evaluate the implementation of national or local programs and
projects; and
4. Perform such other functions as may be provided by law or competent authority.

WHEREFORE, on motion of Barangay Kagawad _________________________ and duly

seconded by Barangay Kagawad __________________________________;

BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved by this body in session assembled to

organize the Barangay Development Council of Barangay San Antonio, Tabaco City, Albay;

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished all concerned

offices for their information, guidance and reference.
