What is the status now of the child?

May pinaglihian po ba kayo?

Ilang taon bago nalaman na may kundisyon ang bata?

Ano ang kaibahan ng anak niyo sa ibang normal na mga bata?

Ilang taon siya pumasok sa paaralan?

Natanggap po ba siya agad ng mga kaklase niya at mga magulang nito?

Natatandaan niyo pa po ba kung ano ang naging unang reaksyon ng anak niyo sa unang pasok
niya sa paaralan?

Gaano po kahirap sa inyo na magkaroon ng anak na my kundisyon lalo na ng siya ay pumapasok

na sa paaralan?

Sa kabila ng lahat, ano ano po ang mga bagay na ginagawa niya na hindi nagiging mahirap
sainyo?

 Abstract

Our case study is base on a child who has an Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder,

there are many adults and children that deal with a learning disorder, known as ADHD. ADHD

is a common disorder that an adult or a child can deal with in school, or in their personal life.

So we have background knowledge in ADHD because we tackled it on our course in the major

subjects. ADHD can be defined as a disorder that one is unable to control. Attention Deficit

Hyperactivity Disorder can show many symptoms such as the inability to stay still, and the child

may be talkative. Therefore, the child or adult may have difficulties in paying attention, being

distracted to other situations going on in the classroom or at home, not listening , not finishing

schoolwork, and difficulty in organization, distraction and forgetfulness.

John Jared Orinio is a boy who is 11 years old in the fourth grade .Jared was raised with

both his parents. Her father works as a Debi and her mother works as a stay home Mom. They

both take care of Jared and her siblings. According to our observation and information that we

gathered, his cousin also has a disorder but they did not sure if it’s also ADHD . But it comes to

our mind that his disorder is a genetic type.

VI. Description of your student

John Jared Orinio has an Attention Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) this is the most

commonly diagnosed mental disorder on a children. He is very hyperactive and unable to

control their impulses. Or they may have trouble paying attention. These behavior may interfere

to his school and home life. According to our research children with ADHD may have trouble

managing time, being organized, setting goals ,and they may also have problems with

relationships, self-esteem, and addiction.

 He is easily distracted

 He almost doesn’t follow or finish a task

 Doesn’t pay attention and makes careless mistakes

 Forgets about daily activities

 Doesn’t like to do things that require sitting still

VII. Summarize the strength of the child with an ADHD

Based on the information that we heard, John Jared Orinio is also has a skills regardless

of having an disorder.

 First is while we observed the child we encounter that he is very fast, in fact he is

the fastest kids among on their cousins or playmates. He can run fast, jump,

climb, and disappear quicker than any kid you will ever meet. He is more mature

in gross motor skills.

 Second is Courage in short Jared is fearless, granted a huge part of this

impulsiveness, which comes from having more slowly maturing prefrontal

cortexes

 3rd is Observant Jared this kid have a hard time staying focused right? But it

doesn’t mean they are not observant. This kid notices everything, all at once, all

the time. They might have a hard time retaining it, but they definitely notice.

They’ll catch it out of the corner of their eye.

But despite of all of his strengths we are not sure if he can pass his schooling because of the

conditions possessed in him, but we think he only need is the support of his love ones especially

of his parents so he may felt that he has a supporter at his side.
