My Philosophy in Life

I believe life is a journey the long road makes us wiser, the wrong turns
makes us stronger and the unexpected bumps bring us awareness. I believe that
life is a great gift from God. I believe we should value and respect life. I believe
God gave us life so that we can live the life he gave us to the fullest. I believe we
are all special in our own ways and that if we combine all our talents and gifts we
can make a better world to live in. I believe that we can all make a difference,
even if were just a kid, if we put our hearts and minds to it.

I believe that all people are given the chance to be good. Some people
take it or some people leave it. I believe that what we do is our own decision so if
some people become evil it was their own choice and they have the choice to
turn it around. And for me we don’t need to listen for all the people who will judge
you because once we listen to all their criticisms, you just prove that they are
right on what they are saying about you. So instead of listening to them, prove
them wrong and prove them that you can.
My Philosophy of Teaching

I believe that a good teacher knows and understands students, how they
develop and learn. I know that students actively construct and transform their
own knowledge based on past experiences and prior learning. I know that
students do not all learn in the same way or at the same rate. I believe it is my
responsibility as a teacher to be an effective diagnostician of students’ interests,
abilities, and prior knowledge. I must then plan learning experiences that will both
challenge and allow every student to think and grow.

And as a future teacher we should not only test students academically but
we also teach them on how to become a better person. We should guide or
students to have the best attitude they can because teaching is not about
educating mind but also the heart and the soul.
Classroom Management Philosophy

Every teacher needs a classroom management plan. They are

responsible for motivating, organizing, managing, and teaching the students.
Teachers combine the school values with their own personality to form their
teaching personality. To me, a good teacher must be patient, fun, caring,
consistent, nurturing, and a facilitator of learning. The goals of my classroom
management plan are to develop learner responsibility, to create a positive
classroom environment, and to maximizing time and opportunity for learning. As
a teacher, providing a safe, comfortable classroom environment and maximizing
opportunities for student learning are the most important factors in governing
student behavior. In this statement, I will describe my strategies for establishing
and maintaining a well-managed environment to optimize learning opportunities.

A well-managed classroom creates a comfortable, safe place where

students want to learn. It also prevents distracting events and behavioral issues,
which allows for more quality instructional and learning time.
 Why teaching?

Honesty, Education is not my first choice because when I am young my

dream is to become a successful business woman. But my grandmother is a
retired Guidance-councilor so she wanted me to become a teacher. I accept the
fact that she wants me to follow her steps so I chose the course Education. At
first I can’t imagine myself being a role model to the students but as time goes by
I started to love this course because I got inspired to my professors who teaches
us very well and to achieve the dream of my grandmother I tried my very best to
become what she wanted for me. I think this is what we called PASSION. Why
Teaching? Because it gave me a purpose in life, It introduced me to myself. It
introduced me to my strength and weaknesses besides nothing can make me
feel happy and contented as teaching. Why teaching? The answer is simple
“Why not?”. And I want to inspire and be inspired for others.

Why Filipino major?

Filipino because for me one of the best Filipino teacher when I am in

Secondary level really inspire me on how she teaches us in what strategies and
methods she used to be more understandable the lesson that she we tackled.
Filipino because that is our language I want to have more knowledge to
understand the kind of speech the every uses of language and As future
educator I want to share the knowledge that I learned to the next generation that
I will handle.
