INTRODUCTION: PROGRESSED CHART

Your Personality Profile is revealed by the imprints of the planets in your NATAL Chart. The
NATAL REPORT is a projection of "Personality Potential" and can be compared to a
"Blueprint" of a building that is being planned for construction. At different stages of
development while the building is being built, certain additions, deletions and/or other changes
may become desirable (or even necessary) and the original blueprint may be modified to
accommodate those changes. And so it is with your personality as indicated by your NATAL
Chart. During the "building" of your life, your personality is being developed, and the imprints
of the personality blueprint are being modified and/or changed, both by your own choices and by
circumstances beyond your control.

The progression of the planets as they continue their respective orbits into different signs and
houses, and the aspects they form, are beyond our control. But we DO have some control over
how we handle these new influences, and how we let them affect our personality. In order to deal
with these influences, it certainly would help for us to know WHAT these influences are, and
WHEN we will have to deal with them. The PROGRESSED REPORT provides that
information: the WHAT, the WHEN, and (in some reports) the HOW.

Now, for the first time, we have a Progressed Report that not only tells us WHAT, WHEN, and
HOW--it also tells us HOW LONG! It locates the signs, the aspects, and the house positions for
each of the planets for any given year of your life and tells you how long they will remain in
those positions. With each of the interpretations for these progressed planetary positions, we
include a brief synopsis of the influences and imprints of its position in your Natal Chart for your
comparison.

Many techniques for following the development of man from birth through life have been
devised and studied by Astrologers since about the second or third century BC. The technique
used in this Report is called "Secondary Progressions". This system uses the "Day for a Year"
process which appears to have been practiced since Ptolemy and Copernicus, and was supported
by the German mathematician Johannes Kepler (1571-1630). The system is implemented by
choosing a specific birthday. We then count a day for each year of your life, and cast a chart for
the "progressed birthday".

The Progressed chart is the first chart used in Predictive Astrology, for it provides a good
preview and overview of what you can expect in the coming year. We feel that the Progressed
chart provides the first step toward using Astrology for a better and more fully informed way of
living life -- AS IT UNFOLDS.

When combined with information obtained from a "FORECAST REPORT", OR "TRANSIT

REPORT", which interprets the aspects of the transiting planets (where the planets actually
WILL be at any given time), we can get an extremely comprehensive body of predictive
information for any "progressed year"--and beyond. Check with your personal Astrologer for
information concerning these Reports.

YOUR PROGRESSED ASCENDANT

Like the Sun-sign, progressing the chart will change the sign on the cusp of the first house, your
Ascendant. It will also bring influences of the new sign into play upon the personality in
changing, modifying, and "blending" experiences. Each time a new sign "rises" on the first
house, you may feel a little disoriented, especially during the first year or two. This is because
different methods, or "styles" of operating in interpersonal and business transactions can vary
considerably under the influence of different Rising signs. Since the Ascendant represents the
face (the "Mask") we show the world, others may begin to see us in a different light before we
become aware of any changes in ourselves.

Unlike the Sun's thirty-year cycle, the change cycles of the Ascendant may not be as predictable
as the Sun, since the houses may have more, or less, than thirty degrees. Casting the chart for the
place of residence instead of the birthplace can also affect the degree of the Ascendant. The exact
time of changes from the birth chart Ascendant and from the progressed Rising-signs can be
difficult to trace when changes of residence are extreme.

The Rising sign in the Progressed chart determines the signs on the houses, just as it does in the
Natal chart. Each time the Ascendant changes, the sign on the cusps of the other eleven houses
may change, also. The interpretations of the signs on the houses will give some clues regarding
the affairs of each house during the year for which the Progressed chart is cast. These signs on
the cusps may not change very much from year to year unless you move your place of residence
a significant distance from one geographic location to another.

Your Progressed Ascendant is now at four degrees of the sign, Leo. The following interpretations
are for the current year and place of residence.

PROGRESSED LEO RISING WITH NATAL ASCENDANT IN GEMINI--Life is never dull

around a Gemini rising. People with this Ascendant can be entertaining for hours because they
cannot stand to be bored themselves. They need constant mental stimulation because their active
minds fleet through a constant stream of thoughts. You my be accused of having a dual
personality, and you may actually feel safer if you have two situations in your life at once--be it
personal or business. In reality, you are only exhibiting the duality of the human condition. The
pull of polar opposites can be intense, causing you to swing rapidly like a pendulum until you
understand the necessity of bringing the spiritual and the physical together within yourself. Part
of your appeal may be that people just never know exactly where they stand with you. You can
outtalk, outthink, outsmart and outmaneuver most of them all the time. You will respect them if
they CAN keep up with you, but will not like it if they should get ahead of you.

When your Ascendant moves into Leo in your PROGRESSED Chart, you may feel that you
sparkle brilliantly when the Sun is shining and actually feel subdued when it is hiding. This
progression can bring you a fiery personality influenced by leadership, determination and
stability. Leo must lead, and you may assume the leadership role subtly and without any sense of

PROGRESSED LEO ON 2ND HOUSE--The Sun rules Leo, and the second house deals with
money, worth and finances. Progressed Leo on the cusp makes the Sun's position vital to how
your money is earned. You are likely to be the major wage earner during this time. In addition to
salary, it could be in the form of residuals, commissions, and dividends. There is also the

to consider family as a partnership with equal fairness and justice for all while Libra is here. You
need this attitude for your own security and emotional health. You may cultivate beauty and art

PROGRESSED SCORPIO ON 5TH HOUSE--The fifth house deals with love-sex, children,
entertainment, and speculation. Scorpio on the fifth house cusp in the Progressed Chart, is ruled
by Pluto, the planet of extremes and regeneration. You are likely to have a natural desire and
need for emotional attachment to very dynamic and charismatic people with Scorpio on this

PROGRESSED TAURUS ON 11TH HOUSE--This is the house of friends, hopes, and love
received. The planet Venus rules Taurus on the cusp of your eleventh house. During this
progressed position, your friends are likely to be artistic, stable, and, (possibly) wealthy. You can
expect support from friends for your plans, since you are likely to plan carefully and sensibly
during this time.

PROGRESSED CANCER ON 12TH HOUSE--Cancer, emotional sign of the mother, is ruled by

the emotional planet Moon. When it is found in the twelfth house of hidden matters and the
subconscious process in the Progressed chart, emotions are likely to be very vulnerable.
Mysterious feelings from the subconscious can make you want to cry without knowing why. You
will need to seek seclusion at times. This configuration can make you very intuitional and

PROGRESSED SUN IN SIGN AND HOUSE POSITION

The Sun moves forward (counter-clockwise) in the Progressed chart from its Natal position at the
approximate rate of one degree for each year of life. This means that the Sun will progress into a
different sign by, or before, age thirty. Remember that these Natal Sun-sign influences are with
us all our lives in the form of birth imprints. In the Progressed chart, the new Sun-sign will
influence, enhance, modify, and/or blend with those in the Natal chart--and so with any
subsequent progressed Sun-signs. The influences may be most recognizable during the first year
for which a Progressed chart has been cast after the Sun has moved into the next sign. Sometimes
there can be events or situations which trigger significant life changes (relocation, graduation,
job change, marriage, divorce, new home, etc.). Some of these could vividly high-light the
influences of the Sun entering into a different sign.

As you read this report, look back over your life and try to remember if there were any events

PROGRESSED SUN IN VIRGO WITH NATAL SUN IN LEO--Whatever people with their
NATAL Sun in Leo do is done with a concentration of purpose which compels success. They
make true friends and if one must have an enemy, a Leo will prove more honorable and
magnanimous than any other. You are practical, creative, philosophical, spiritual, and
inspirational to others. Proud and intensely individual, you really want to stand out and to be
recognized and appreciated for your unique contributions. Doing something well and being
respected for it is extremely important to you. You cannot tolerate being in the background,
taking orders from others, or being "just one of the team". You must put your personal stamp on
whatever you do, and direct your own course in life. You need to have a place where you can

help to bring order out of confusion. The desire for organization, knowledge, and detail are the
constant order of the day in this Sun-sign. In Virgo there is not the need for recognition that Leo
demands, and it is easier for you to work behind the scenes. It is also easier for you to change
your mind and adapt to the conditions. You will not compromise on organizing, analyzing, and
planning; but you can adjust more readily to doing the very necessary routine work that most
others dislike to do. This attention to detail can overflow into other areas of your activities.

intellectual brilliance and mental accomplishments. You may have a scientific approach with an
urge to know and understand the inner workings of life's processes. You are eager to investigate
new things and explore all the possibilities in areas where you function. You will also want to
travel. It is important for you to be able to express yourself and communicate your ideas clearly
during this time. You need to watch for tendencies toward intellectual arrogance or snobbery,
and be careful not to force your ideas on others.

PROGRESSED MOON IN SIGN AND HOUSE POSITION

The close proximity of the Moon to the earth and its rotation around the earth causes it to pass
between the earth and each sign of the Zodiac quite rapidly. It averages about thirteen degrees
per day--a little less than three days per sign. Under the day-for-a-year progression system, it will
take approximately thirty months, two-and-a-half years, for it to complete each life-cycle of the
Moon.

The Moon is the only "planet" that could show up more than once in a Progressed chart in the
same sign in which it was found in the Natal chart. Although these natal influences "imprint" our
personalities and are with us throughout our lifetime, when the Moon appears in the same sign in
the Progressed chart, it can give us an opportunity to modify even those natal imprints to some
extent. In the delineations for the Progressed Moon-signs, we will include the Natal Moon-sign
interpretations.

In mythology the Moon is always female--as the Sun is always male. In most ancient cults and
religions, the Moon represents the female force which reflects the male force of the Sun. There
were many ancient Lunar holidays and festivals. In modern religion, the date for the Easter
holiday is still determined by the Moon's orbit.

In astrology, "she" dispenses her influences indiscriminately upon male and female alike, though
each sex is likely to respond to the influences in somewhat different ways. The Moon-sign
influences in the Progressed chart will affect the emotional side of your personality as it was
imprinted by the sign the Moon was in at birth and modified by subsequent progressed Moon-
sign influences. The intensity of the changes can range from deeply sub-conscious to
dramatically emotional.

Your Progressed Moon is now at 17 degrees of an approximate two-and-a-half-year life cycle in

the sign, Sagittarius. You should have, roughly, 14 months left until it moves into the next
Moon-sign cycle.

PROGRESSED MOON IN SAGITTARIUS WITH NATAL MOON IN AQUARIUS--The

Moon's period in house four will be structured and solidified in terms of emotion, children,
creativity, friendships, and speculation. It will be a good time to concentrate upon personal
artistic and aesthetic endeavors.

PROGRESSED: VIRGO SUN AND SAGITTARIUS MOON--Virgo is a Mutable, earth sign
while Sagittarius is Mutable, fire. The two signs are square to each other, and squares usually set
up tensions and obstacles to be overcome in life's progress. When this combination is found in
the Progressed chart, the tensions deal with tedious detail as opposed to expansive thinking. You
can crave adventure, romance, excitement, and foreign exploration: one or all of these could give
a lift to your mental process. You are humanitarian and thoughtful, and will be sincerely
interested in education. You believe strongly in justice and fair play now. You are warm,
friendly, and sometimes impulsive. You can dream the extravagant dream during this life cycle,
but you can also attend to the minute details, and when that combination is achieved, the obstacle
of the square aspect becomes a great asset. The key during this progression is to develop patience
for the research ability to get to the bottom of these great new ideas, and to understand them
thoroughly before going for the implementation.

PROGRESSED MERCURY IN SIGN AND HOUSE POSITION

Mercury in the signs gives clues to the kinds of concerns that occupy your mind and reveals your
psychological approach to making decisions and conveying your ideas to others. Mercury
influences the kind of communications you have with other people throughout the year: those
received as well as those you send. It indicates shifts in mental focus and intellectual attention as
they are impacted by the influences of the Progressed sign. It can also indicate travel, such as
short trips which don't upset the daily routine too much. You can usually count on not being
bored by Mercury influences, and the daily routine is more likely to be intensified rather than

The two most fundamental energies in our birth chart are the Sun and the Moon.
While the Sun is the most yang, projective, giving us our sense of individual self and
purpose, the Moon is the most yin, receptive, providing us with the application of our
purpose. The Sun is the light and life of our system. The Moon being the closest heavenly
body to us controls the rhythm of the sea and all its creatures as well as the flow of blood
in the human body. As the Moon distributes the light of the Sun each night, we
experience this partnership and are able to understand their relationship in forming the
personality of the human being.

Each night a different amount of light is given off by the Moon according to its
changing relationship with the Sun. Within an approximate twenty-eight day cycle the
Moon will have passed through eight phases, each phase lasting about forty-five degrees
or three and a half days. These phases each have their own unique characteristics which
influence all life on the planet. The first phase is the New Moon at which time no light is
emanating from its surface. Beginning at zero degrees it will have completed its cycle at
three hundred and sixty degrees.

One way to describe these phases is to use the analogy of the plant.

At the New Moon the seed is in the ground preparing for germination. It is implanted
in a new beginning.

In the early degrees of the Crescent Phase, the sprout is drawn up from the earth by
the initial impulses of light. During the remaining stages of the Crescent Phase the plant
goes through a strengthening process, mobilizing its energies against the elements of
nature.

When the First Quarter comes about, the plant has passed the initial stages of survival
and is now sending down roots. By firmly anchoring its life force, the plant is able to
concentrate its energies in the growth of stems and leaves with the tiny buds appearing by
the beginning of the Gibbous Phase.

During the Gibbous Phase the plant is focusing on the reason for its existence. By
ridding itself of everything superfluous, the culmination of its entire past from its
beginning is brought to the moment of its achievement by coming into bloom.

The phase of the Full Moon is the completion. The work has been done and the
gardener can stand back and assess his efforts. As the Full Moon progresses through its
forty-five degrees the flower becomes the fruit.

The Disseminating phase is the harvest. The purpose of the plant is to now give back
to the earth, to those who brought it into being and to nurture others.

By the time the Third Quarter comes around, the harvest is over, the abundance has
been shared and what is left in the fields begins to decompose. The cycle is beginning to
end.

During the Balsamic Phase the seed capsule is buried underground. It is clear that
what was, no longer exists in its original form. This is the time of transition. The light of
the Moon has grown very dim and by the end of this phase will have disappeared into
darkness.

When we are born we come in under the influence of one of the Moon's phases. The
