Abstract
The periodic movement or buckling in polymeric membranes is modeled using the wave
equation in two dimensions, it is of particular interest the study of circular geometry
membranes, due to its greater use in chemical industries; As components in transverse
filters, reverse osmosis membranes, in addition to having inclusive biomedical
applications, you can also use in the coordinates, then, a deflection and initial velocity,
the evolution in the time of the buckling in the membrane is calculated, also the nodes or
lines of immobility that are generated in it. The Bessel-Fourier functions are part of the
natural solution for these circular symmetry systems.
