1. The Puente Nuevo is the newest and largest of three bridges that span the
120-metre-deep (390 ft) chasm that carries the Guadalevín River and
divides the city of Ronda, in southern Spain. The architect was José Martin
de Aldehuela, who died in Málaga in 1802. The chief builder was Juan
Antonio Díaz Machuca.

2. The 16th Street Bridge, also known as the Piney Branch Bridge, is an
automobile and pedestrian bridge that carries 16th Street NW over Piney
Branch and Piney Branch Parkway in Washington, D.C. It was the first
parabolic arch bridge in the United States. Construction on the first span
began in 1905 as part of the northward extension of 16th Street, and was
finished in 1907 but was never opened to traffic; the second span began
construction in 1909 and was completed in 1910. The bridge was renovated
in 1990, and again beginning in October 2014.

3. The Gateway Arch is a 630-foot monument in St. Louis, Missouri, United

States. Clad in stainless steel and built in the form of a weighted catenary
arch, it is the world's tallest arch, the tallest man-made monument in the
Western Hemisphere, and Missouri's tallest accessible building

Eero Saarinen was a Finnish-American architect and industrial designer

noted for his neo-futuristic style. Saarinen is known for designing the
Washington Dulles International Airport outside Washington, D.C., the TWA
Flight Center in New York City, and the Gateway Arch in St. Louis, Missouri
4. The Arc de Triomf in the capital of Catalonia was built as the main access
gate for the 1888 Barcelona World Fair. It was built as the main access gate
for the 1888 Barcelona World Fair by architect Josep Vilaseca i Casanovas.
5.This historical building and visitor attraction in Lisbon was built to
commemorate the reconstruction of the city after the 1755 earthquake.
The construction of the monument took many years – from 1755 till
