2019 Media Kit
The Everest
The Everest is a Weight for Age Thoroughbred horse
race, organized by the Australian Turf Club. It is run at
Randwick Racecourse over 1,200 metres on turf in
Sydney, Australia. Run

With a prize purse of A$14 million, it is the richest race

in Australia and the richest turf race in the world.

Held October, it is the feature race of the Everest Spring

Carnival.

There are 12 slot holders. Each slot holder ‘buys’ a slot

in the starting gate for a then unspecified horse. The slot
holder then has the right to race, lease, contract or share
a starter, or sell their place in the gate.

Our Secretariat’s
World Story
Started in 2017, Secretariat’s World spotlights
the drama and the enduring glory of iconic
racing the world over, through exclusive heart-
warming interviews with extraordinary
horsemen who share never-before-told stories
about the legendary horses which compete in
these races.

Secretariat’s World seeks to reset the balance

between the worlds of Intellect & Emotion,
Science & Art and Travel & Lingering Moments,
one racing story at a time….

Although Secretariat’s World looks at the world

of iconic racing as a whole, through its distinct
bouquets of independent magazine miniseries,
focused on iconic races, it celebrates the stories
of the people and brands who have dedicated
their lives to that winning moment.
