The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board releases the official UPTET Syllabus for Paper 1 and 2. No
changes have been made in the paper pattern or syllabus of UPTET Exam so far.
UPTET Paper 1: Questions from Child Development, Learning & Pedagogy, 1st Language,
2ndLanguage, Mathematics and Environmental Studies are asked. Check Tips To Crack UPTET

UPTET Paper 2: Candidate will have an option in the fourth subject between
Mathematics/Science and Social Studies. Check Best Books To Prepare For UPTET 2019
The exam will be scheduled for November 4, 2019 as expected in online (computer based test)
mode. The recruitment exam is conducted for the post of Primary and Upper Primary Level

UPTET Syllabus 2019 For Paper 1
This paper focuses on the educational psychology of teaching and learning relevant to classes 1
to 5.
Topics in this paper focus on understanding the characteristics and needs of diverse learners,
interaction with learners and the attributes and qualities of a good facilitator of learning.
UPTET Syllabus is based on the topics given in NCERT Books of class I-V.
The section on Maths and EVS evaluates a candidate on his facts, concepts, and understanding of
the subject.
Language papers simply test the candidate for skills of instructions medium.

UPTET Syllabus of Paper 2 focuses on the educational psychology of teaching and learning
relevant to classes 6 to 8.
Candidates interested in Maths or Science have to choose OPTION A and candidates interested

Language I and Language II cannot be same.
