Consumer’s product and service preferences change constantly. The study of consumer behaviour is
very important for marketing. Besides knowing why consumers buy, the manufacturers must also
understand when, where and how they buy, i.e. they should know about consumer’s buying habit or
pattern of buying.
In this context, I am conducting a study on “Influence of Branded Food Products on
Consumer Behaviour in Kerala”. I am a Research Scholar in the Department of Commerce & Centre
of Research, PSMO College Tirurangadi, Malappuram under the supervision of Dr P .V Basheer
Ahammed, Research Guide, Department of Commerce &Centre of Research, PSMO College
