Dearest Sir and Madam:

Greetings of Peace and Prosperity!

The Rural Improvement Club (RIC) of Barangay Magasang has long been a civic
minded women’s association. It was organized since 1960’s and tribute socio cultural
activities most particularly in Barangay Magasang. One of its vision is to give family
values to women and its empowerment to the Barangay and to the Municipality as a
whole.

Since its creation, meetings were held in Purok Waiting Shed, until they built their
own small meeting place through solicitations and personal donations. Thus, it was
erected along the national highway. But unluckily, the concreting and widening of the
road made the small building hard to pass. And all the dirts of the highway make the
edifice the catching basin and due to the scenario the members of the Association
decided to hold meetings at Purok Waiting Shed.

Now, knowing that the Pichay Initiative Foundation make assistance to those
associations, cooperative whose meeting place were affected by the road widening and
eventually were displaced, the Rural Improvement Club (RIC) of Magasang, due to its
incapacity of financial resources, decided to ask any form of assistance to uplift the
roofing and flooring of our small meeting place building beside the National Highway,
Purok 2, Barangay Magasang.

It would be a great and unforgettable help to our Women’s Association and to the
Barangay. May the Lord bless us always and Mabuhay! Pichay Initiative Foundation.
