Pattern
Physical Endurance Test (PET) :
 Long Race for Male = 1600 meters in 6 ½ minutes
 Long Race for Females = 1000 meters in 6 ½ minutes
 Pushups (only for male candidates) = 20 (on cycle of up
and download to be counted as one)
 Shot Put (4 Kgs) = 14 ½ feet in 3 attempts

Physical Standard Test (PST) :

 For Male Candidates : Height = 5’-6”(min.) Chest = 32”(un-
expanded) 33½”(expanded)
 For Female Candidates : Height = 5’-2”(min.)
 For Male candidates belonging to Leh/Kargil districts and
Gorkha community, the minimum height shall be 5’-4”
and for females minimum height shall be 5’.

Written Examination For JK Police Exam :
 JK Police SI Examination consist of objective type
questions.
 Total No. of Written Exam 85 Marks
 The Questions will be of Graduation standard.
 Time Duration of The exam is 2 hours.
 For each questions there are four multiple choice options.
 Among the four options candidate need to select any one.
 Some of the marks will be deducted for each wrong
answer.
 15 Marks for Interview.
