With over 17 years of fashion industry experience, I am skilled in garment design, planning, and construction.
I am also well versed in Creative Direction, sales, and marketing. I am currently enrolled in Arizona State
University’s online bachelor’s program with a focus in Art History. My aim is to further my arts education,
achieving a higher level of professionalism and expert knowledge.

Costume and Wardrobe Technician
 Maintaining Artistic Vision
While working directly with the head of wardrobe, I was responsible for assisting talent and crew within
the wardrobe department, of the “Artistic Tent”. My daily duties required organization, with a demand for
detail-oriented tasks. I had to quickly and efficiently memorize “tracks”, names, and utilize expert levels of
time management. As a wardrobe technician, I had to work instinctively and employ expert problem-
solving skills daily.
 Costume Maintenance
Costume maintenance requires use of hand stitching, knowledge of garment construction, use of industrial
machinery (straight stitch, serge, overlock, high speed multi-stitch machines), industrial garment steamers,
proper laundry and handwashing technique, fabric knowledge, professional ironing knowledge/use,
perform fittings, and complete alterations. I also have experience maintaining and styling wigs, hats, shoes,
and props.

I began my design company November 2007. My focus was custom designs, alterations, as well as fashion
styling and art direction. 12 years later, I am still creating and designing independently and for hire.

Covalen Studio Fall 2014-2017

Creative Designer
At Covalen Design Studio I worked directly with an architect as a designer and production manager.
I also spent time as a seamstress, performed light graphic design, and project management duties.
