WHAT IS BULLYING?

Based on Wikipedia.com:

Bullying is oppression is the use of force, threats, or coercion to abuse or intimidate others. This
behavior can become a habit and create an imbalance of social or physical forces.

Bullying cases are common among teenagers and in any environment, especially in schools. Bullying
is very bad for social life, it can adversely affect their physical and psychological condition.

Bullying is not just interpreted as physical violence. But also psychic violence. Bullying can happen to
both women and men.

FORM OF BULLYING

1. Physically:

Push intentionally , slap, lash out (common to boys)

2. Verbally:

Cursing, mocking, calling names, gossiping (more on girls)

Bullying tends to occur in children who seem weak, different from others, powerless to defend
themselves, do not have many friends.

CAUSE AND EFFECT OF BULLYING

Based on some of our search results on the internet,

Causes of Bullying:
  Lack of attention, the low attention of parents to children makes
children so often seek attention in the surrounding environment,
even a child can do bullying to get the attention of his parents.
 Want to power, a bullying child is usually demonstrating his power
to gain recognition from around by suppressing the weak and
wanting other children to follow him under the pressure of fear.
 Violent exposure from the media, many events are exposed by the
media such as the internet or television. For example: A fight in a
movie or a game with a genre of fights.
 Once a victim of violence, usually, a child who has been a victim of
violence has a desire to repay what he has got. Violence can be
obtained from parents or foreigners.

Effects of Bullying:

 Fear and excessive trauma, the impact of Bullying makes children

fear and trauma to people. Fear of crowds or fear of social benefits.
 Become an unconfident person, bullying makes a person more
embarrassed, and does not want to try something that can boost his
spirits.
 Bring up hostilities, bullying activities can lead to hostilities and
even fights.
 Possible Suicide, this is a very bad impact for victims of bully. The
victim can commit suicide because of several possibilities one of
them is excessive stress.

CONCLUSION AND SOLUTION OF BULLYING CASES

As human beings are given grace by god to do good things, we should avoid bad things like bullying.
Bullying is something that can worsen a person's condition. This can even make the victim want to
commit suicide.

For the solution, we divide this into 2 main perspectives, that is:

1. Victims:

 Prove that we are superior to them.

 Trying to rise from self.
 Dare to report it to parents or teachers.
 Pray to God Almighty.

2. People who prevent:

 Communication with the victim.

 Search information through the Victim's friend or the personal goods.
 Contacting the School.
 Contacting Parents of Bullying Actors.
 Ask for Expert Aid.
