I am a Ugandan by Nationality, Karamojong by Tribe, aged 33years old and possessing a degree in
B.Eng. Civil and Building Engineering and in BSc. Quantity Surveying; having 8 years’ experience.
Through my years of experience while at National Housing and Construction Company Ltd and other
Companies whose details are entailed on my CV, I have gained both hands-on; skills and knowledge
in the field of Renovations, Contract Management and Site monitoring; where I was engaged both at
Site and Managerial level.
I have developed drawings, taken off Quantities, prepared Bills of Quantities and cost estimates,
prepared tender documents and specifications, supervised works, trained and managed teams;
measured and valued works; prepared certificates and Variation orders, work programs and materials
schedule.
On Site monitoring, have attended site meetings, prepared minutes of the same; coordinated activities
of sites, liaised with Consultants (Architects, Engineers and Subcontractors); and given feedback to
matters arising and including preparation of material requisitions.
Regarding the necessary skills, I have issued instructions while I was a Consultant for LEAF II-
Ministry Water and Environment (See CV) and adhered to them; I have written progress reports,
represented Consultants and Contractors; responded to changes in design and other contractual
obligations.
Also, I possess advanced skills in Microsoft Packages (Word, excel, outlook, Project and Access);
AutoCAD and ArchiCAD and trained for trained in safety while LEAF II Ministry Water and
Environment.
