Competencies for Performance and Learning Professionals™ (Competencies) is the
foundation to the certification process. The Self-Assessment Checklist will help you identify
knowledge and skills gaps when preparing for certification and can be used to:
• Assess your current skill and knowledge against the competencies
• Evaluate your ongoing progress
• Prepare for certification

How to Complete the Checklist:


Step 1: Choose the category you are going to review.
Step 2: Working within the category, review each of the competencies, and using the
