PROJECT PROPOSAL

I. PROJECT TITLE

Street Lights

II. IMPLEMENTING AGENCY:

The Original Search Engine Club (Library Club) and Values Club

III. RATIONALE

Officers of the Library Club come up with this idea when they thought of a unique way
on how they could celebrate Christmas with other people. Since it is a tradition to do the
“Pamaskong Handog”, they give it a twist of giving it to someone who needs it more while
incorporating the true meaning of this celebration, the birth of Jesus Christ. The group will be
roaming around 3 barangays in search of families or people who live in the street and will share
to them the same blessings and the gospel.

IV. OBJECTIVES

a. To give “Pamaskong Handog” to street people and reach out with open hearts
b. To magnify the true meaning of why we celebrate Christmas
c. To share the love of God to other Filipinos
d. To be an eye-opener to other youths about what is the value of giving
e. To share the gospel, and share Jesus to other people

V. PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The “Street Light” is a caravan of Love which will search for people who live under
footbridges, bangketa, barong-barong, sidewalk or wherever in the street along 3 chosen
barangays. This event will be conducted by both Library and Values Club officers, members and
volunteers under the supervision of their Club advisers. This event aims to share the love of God
to other people by doing small deeds of offering Christmas gifts and sharing the gospel. Street
light is open to everyone who has a desire to share God to other people and know Him
regardless of their faith and beliefs. This aims to share blessings, joy, hope love and Jesus to
other people especially on Christmas season and be the LIGHT he wanted as to be. This is a
voluntary work which will all came from the desires of our heart. The Street Light activity is
planned to be on December 22, 2017 (tentative date), a whole day activity, including the
preparation and the whole activity. To gain additional funds for this activity, both clubs will be
having a fund raising activity called “Love Carol” a caroling activity in the BCDA community
starting on November 30, December 1, 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2017. This fund raising activity will start
at around 5:30 in the afternoon and hopefully end at 8 o’ clock for succeeding 3 Thursdays and 3
Fridays. Attached in this proposal is a copy of parent’s consent that will be distributed to all
participants of the STREET LIGHTS activity.
 VI. PROJECT REQUIREMENT

a. Library Club and Values Club Officers and/or Members

b. Van/car for roaming around 3 barangays
c. Additional budget to produce larger numbers of Pamaskong Handog bags
d. Parent’s consent of every perticipants

VII. EXPECTED OUTPUT

a.Participants will be reminded of the true value of giving

b.Participants will be able to share their blessings to others
c.Participants will be able to have a chance to share the gospel
d.Participants will be aware of the true meaning of Christmas
e.Love and positive vibes will continue to spread around the community
f.Participants will be able to see their selves in the ministry of serving God

The Library Club and Values Club will be having the first “STREET LIGHTS” project on December 22, 2017
(tentative date). This project aims to reach out to other people and share the love of God to them during Christmas
season. In behalf of it, we will be conducting fund-raising activity entitled as “Love Carol”, a caroling which will only be
held around BCDA Community. The following dates of caroling are listed down below:
