Day 1 New York (42 miles)

Flights can be booked into any of the three major New York City area airports. Those flying in to EWR
before 12:00 can either take our shuttle to the hotel for some rest or go shopping at Jersey Gardens Mall.
Guests who arrive at JFK or LGA before 3:00pm have the option to tour the Flushing, Queens at their
own leisure, we'll provided free left-luggage so that you can go to Sky View Center much easily. All who TakeTours Newsletter
arrive before 4:30pm have the option of joining a 3-hour Night Tour of the city. Shuttle service will be

We will spend the day touring New York City, seeing all the best sights this metropolis has to offer. We will
take a sightseeing cruise to get close to the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge. Then, we will go
to the USS Intrepid Sea Air and Space Museum. In the Financial District, we will visit the New York
Stock Exchange, the Charging Bull, Trinity Church, the metropolitan Museum of Art and Times
Square. Later, on a bus tour, we will see Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center, Ground Zero, and the
under-construction Freedom Tower.

 Charging Bull
This bronze sculpture that sits at the northern tip of New York's Bowling
Green Park is ready to strike! It was commissioned to represent the
"strength and power of the American people" after the stock market crashed
in 1987.

 Trinity Church
Built in the mid-1800s, Trinity Church (also called St. Paul's Chapel) is the
oldest public building that is in continuous use in NYC. The current church is
the third on this site; the first Trinity Church was built in 1698.

Opening Hours: Please note that St. Paul's Chapel is temporarily


closed while undergoing restoration. The churchyard will remain open.

One of the most famous shopping areas in the world-- and one of the most
expensive-- New York City's Fifth Avenue cuts across Manhattan and hold
some of its most famous landmarks and event centers.

 Rockefeller Center
A member of the U.S. National Register of Historic Places as well as a
National Landmark, the world-famous Rockefeller Center (named for John.
D. Rockefeller's son) in Midtown Manhattan has been a New York hub since
the 1930s.

 Ground Zero
In the United States, "Ground Zero" refers to the site of the tragic terrorist
attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001, and killed thousands of
people. Today, the area is a construction site of future buildings and
memorials.

Day 7 New York - Philadelphia - Washington DC (203 miles)

Today, we will drive to Philadelphia to see Independence National Park, the location of Independence
Hall and the Liberty Bell. Afterwards, we will continue on our way to Washington DC to visit the Lincoln
Memorial, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and the Korean War Memorial. We can also take some
photos of the exteriors of the White House and the US Capitol. Then, we will visit the National Air and
Space Museum, followed by a Potomac River Cruise, during which we will see the Washington
Monument, the World War II Memorial, and the Thomas Jefferson Memorial. (If the cruise closed, we
will visit International Spy Museum instead)

 Philadelphia, PA
One of the most historically significant cities in the United States, Philadelphia
was the original American capital. The City of Brotherly Love draws history
buffs and lovers of culture from all corners of the globe!

 Independence National Historical Park


This National Historical Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania serves as a way of preserving
important Revolutionary War sites for future generations. Called "America's most historic square
mile," this 55-acre park in the "Old City" district is not to be missed.

 Liberty Bell
The famously cracked Liberty Bell is a sign of American Independence and
spirit. Located at Liberty Bell Center in Philadelphia, PA, this symbol of the
American Revolution was crafted in 1752-- more than 250 years ago.

We'll visit the exterior of it due to the government shutdown.

 Independence Hall
One of Philadelphia's most famous landmarks, Independence Hall in
Independence National Historical Park is the location where both the
Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution were
debated, written, and ratified by the Founding Fathers of the USA.

 Washington, DC
The capital of the United States of America sits on the scenic Potomac River.
Monuments, museums, and Americana characterize this historic city, which is
located in the District of Columbia between the states of Maryland and Virginia.

 Lincoln Memorial
This iconic American monument honors the 16th president of the United
States. Abraham Lincoln was president during the American Civil War, and
is most famous for the Emancipation Proclamation that freed all of the
slaves in the US.

 Vietnam Veterans Memorial


This memorial in Washington, DC serves as a place to remember the
American soldier who were lost or killed during the tumultuous Vietnam War.
Originally controversial in design, the simple memorial has become a shrine
for the American people.

 Korean War Veterans Memorial


This memorial commemorates those who served for the United States in the
Korean War. It is located south of the Reflecting Pool at the National Mall.
The simple memorial is triangular in shape will a circle at the top.

 White House
The world-famous White House in Washington, DC is the official residence
of the president of the United States and the place where most of the work is
done. The facade of this neoclassical mansion is a global icon.

 US Capitol
The famous United States Capitol is the meeting place of the US Congress,
and has been for more than 200 years. The building is famous for its
elaborate dome and intricately designed, detailed columns.

 National Air and Space Museum


One of the Smithsonian Institute's museums in Washington, DC, the
National Air and Space Museum chronicles the history of flight. From the
Wright Brother to Buzz Aldrin, the exhibits at this museum explore all of
humanity's air travels.

 Potomac River Cruise


The Potomac River runs along Washington, DC, the capital city of the United
States of America. Visitors to this famous locale can opt to see many of the
area's most historic landmarks and memorials in a unique way.

If the cruise closed, we will visit International Spy Museum instead.

 Washington Monument
This iconic obelisk is a memorial to the commander-in-chief of the American
revolutionary army and eventual the first president of the United States of
America, George Washington. The massive stone structure began
construction in 1848.

 World War II Memorial


One of Washington, DC's many monuments and memorials, the WWII Memorial pays homage to
those who served in the US military during that conflict. It was opened in 2002.

 Jefferson Memorial
The Thomas Jefferson Memorial is a memorial to the third president of the
United States. The impressive building is neoclassical in design and has
been standing since 1943. It sees more than two million visitors every year.
It's only available during the Cherry Blossom time.

 International Spy Museum


Dedicated to all things espionage, the International Spy Museum houses
exhibits and collections that detail the history of spying. It features many
informative films and interactive activities, like Spy in the City, an GPS-
based scavenger hunt.

Driving through the hilly countrysides of Pennsylvania and New York state, we will enjoy the rural scenery
as we head north to visit the Corning Glass Museum in Corning, NY. We will then continue on to
Niagara Falls, NY where we will take the famous Maid of the Mist boat ride (No boat operation in winter),
if time is available, guests will have chance to take the impressive and exciting Niagara JETBOAT
(JetBoat tour will be closed under tough weather or river icy condition). Then see the Adventure Movie.
Guests can then choose either to stay in the Falls Park for self-exploration or have an in-depth tour that
includes visits to the Whirlpool State Park and Old Fort Niagara..

Corning is a city in Steuben County, New York, United States, on the Chemung
River. The population was 11,183 at the 2010 census. It is named for Erastus
Corning, an Albany financier and railroad executive who was an investor in the

This museum in western New York is dedicated to the history, art, and
science behind glassmaking. Its collection contains more than 45,000

Day 9 Niagara Falls - Boston (407 miles)

Driving along the Erie Canal in upstate New York, we will continue our journey to Boston, MA. Here, we
will tour the campuses of Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. After
that, we will pass Trinity Church, the Hancock Building, Boston Common, the Public Garden, the
Boston Athenaeum, while overlooking the golden dome of the Massachusetts State House. In the
evening, we will enjoy a delicious Lobster Dinner.

Freedom Trail and see where the seeds of the American Revolution were sown
or visit the North End and look out over the harbor.

 Harvard University
One of the most famous institutions of higher learning in the world, Harvard

 MIT

Trinity Church is located in Boston's upscale Back Bay neighborhood. It is a

The John Hancock Tower is an iconic skyscraper in Boston, MA.

A mandatory service fees: Minimum $10 / day / person should be paid in cash to tour guide and the bus
driver as a service fee. Any child / Infant reserving a seat will have to pay the service fees as well. Ex: 2
people taking a 2-day tour would pay: $10 x 2 (seats) x 2 (days) = $40.

City passes are not accepted during an escorted tour due to the fact that they do not correspond into
the tour schedule. The group entrance tickets provided by tour guides have fast lane and tour guides
accompany passengers for activities.
Bus Arrangement: Usually only passengers in the same order will be arranged in the same bus. If you
book the tour separately with your friends and you want to sit in the same bus, you need to inform us
before departure . Or you may be arranged in different buses.

All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do
not book the airline tickets until you received the confirmation.

Redemption

Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on
your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of
purchase.

The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please

Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed.
Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of
tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be
noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.

Cancellations and Cancellation Fees


Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering
penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties
and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our
office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .

Tour Departure: This tour has 100% guaranteed departure; if the tour is cancelled there will be refund of
120%. Restrictions apply; due to weather conditions, State Emergencies, Airport Closures or anything beyond
the control of the tour operator the 120% refund will NOT apply.

Cancellation penalties per person for tours last 5 or more days(Notification day and departure day are
not counted)

Up to 46 days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.


21-45 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
8-20 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
1-7 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.

NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.

Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or
unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary
itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes
in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.

Tour Cancellation:
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements
or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours'
only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to
re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on
any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
