Biografía
Se unió a la industria de la música coreana en 1995 (su debut bajo el sello musical de
CJ) como parte del grupo Turbo, que se hizo popular en los años de actividad,
produciendo canciones pegadizas y exitosas,como por ejemplo "Twist King"que
recientemente (junio 2011) fue cantada a duo por Kim Hyun Joong y Heo Young
Saeng. Aparte de ser un cantante Ganador de 3 Premios Daesang, también participa
activamente en los programas de variedades , tales como X-Man y Family Outing
(desde el episodio 19). También es conocido por conducir un programa documental
llamado Escape Crisis No.1 (también conocido como La seguridad ante todo!). Se dio a
conocer el 13 de diciembre del 2016 su separación en las actividades del programa de
variedades, Running Man. Poco Después se publicó que hablo SBS con Kim Joong

2001, centrándose principalmente en baladas.
Muchas canciones de Jongkook se han convertido en éxitos y el artista también
fue invitado a muchos programas de variedades.
En 2005, se convirtió en uno de los más importantes artistas de Corea; las ventas
de su álbum superaron los 300.000 ejemplares, convirtiéndose en uno de los
álbumes más vendidos del año. También en 2005, ganó 3 de los premios al artista
de los 4 posibles del año, perdiendo sólo uno de los "oro".
El 21 de enero de 2006, Jongkook participó con otros artistas (Jeon Hyebin y Tae
Kyungim) en un concierto en Paris.
Para cumplir con su deber de realizar dos años de servicio obligatorio, entró al
ejército en 2006.
