Opening
Good evening everyone. I would like to say thank you for coming in our presentation. It’s
great to see you all. Let just start to introducing myself. My name is Imazlia Ayu Wahyuni or
for simple you can call me Ayu. I’m the new general manager of this company. Before that I
will introduce my group members first is…. Or you can call …
Our goal today is to help you understand that using plastic bags is not good for our
environment. As is known, usually plastic bags can decompose at least takes 200 to 400 years.
in fact, some claim that plastic waste can decompose in a thousand years. And Indonesia is
the second largest contribution plastic pollution in the world after china. This is not something
to be proud of.
here we want to give you a solution with a plastic bag. Have you ever thought that cassava
starch, corn starch and soy can be made into a plastic bag? maybe some of you never thought
about that. what I want to show you here is TELOBAG. Telobag is a biodegradable, earth-
friendly bag that made from cassava strach. Compared to conventional plastic
bags, Telobag can biodegrade in around 6 to 8 months. But I will not explain more
to you, because my friends will do it. I think this is the end of my section. In the
next section, my friend felix will explain to you about what is TELOBAG. Thank you

Now it’s my turn to talk. As explained briefly by ayu. I will explain more about this
product. Telobag is a plastic bag made from cassava starch. Unlike the usual kind of
plastic, which is made from petrochemicals, bioplastics rely on renewable materials
such as corn, soy, or in this case, cassava and vegetable oil. These TELOBAG is
designed to degrades into organic waste in 6 months, when accidentally littered on
land. Consumed by micro and macro organisms, and it can be converted into fertiliser
for the soil. When littered in the ocean, dissolves and pose no choking risk to wildlife.
Safe to be consumed.
One thing to watch out for, is how TELOBAG actually cycle through the waste stream.
Nothing like this plastic decays in a landfill, of course. Some bioplastics are not actually
degradable, and the ones that are theoretically compostable require the high
temperatures and frequent turning of an industrial composting facility. Home
composting will not work. If we wanted to create a kind of plastic for which the best
disposal option really is to throw it in the ocean or tangle it in a tree, this may be it.
Okay, that’s all I wanted to say. After this my friend,Julio will explain about the purpose
and price of Telo bag. Thank You
Julio akunting
