Viewing Appraisal Attachments after Appraisals are Completed

Purpose:

Users should be able to view attachments added to appraisal objectives even after the
appraisal is completed. This requirement can be achieved using the following
personalization.

Process:

1. Log into the self-service application.

2. Select the Manager self-Service responsibility.

3. Select the Appraisals function and navigate to the Appraisal homepage .

4. Create a standard appraisal for an employee.

5. Add an objective ‘Objective added in Appraisal’ . Add an attachment to this


objective. Click Apply.

6. Rate the competencies and objectives and complete the appraisal.

7. In the Completed Appraisals table, select the completed appraisal record and
click the ‘Details’ icon.
8. Click the Personalize Objectives link in the ‘Objectives’ table.

9. Click ‘Create Item’ icon to create a new item. Enter the following details as
indicated in the following screenshot.

a. ID

b. Prompt and

c. View Instance
10. Click ‘Create Item’ icon to create the entity mappings. Enter the following
details as indicated in the screenshot.

a. ID

b. Entity

c. Delete allowed, Insert allowed & Update allowed flags are set to ‘No’.
11. Click ‘Create Item’ icon to enter the primary key details. Enter the following
details as indicated in the below screenshot.

a. ID

b. View attribute
12. Click ‘Create Item’ icon to create category maps. Enter the following details as
indicated in the screenshot.

a. ID

b. Category

13. Click ‘Apply’ button. Click the‘Return to Application’ link. Select the completed
appraisal and click ‘Details’ icon. The attachment is displayed against the
objective on the ‘Appraisal Review’ page.
14. Click Attachments icon, the attachment added to the objective is displayed on
the ‘Attachments’ page.

15. For Performance-Management Plan (PMP) appraisals, Objectives with


attachments can be copied from the Objectives Library into the appraisal.
Under the attachments item created in step 9 above, relevant entity maps,
primary key and category maps have to be created. Given below are the
personalization screen shots to display such attachments when appraisals are
completed.

16. Create an Entity Map as indicated in the below screen shot.


17. Define the Primary Key as indicated in the below screen shot.

18. Create a Category Map as indicated in the below screen shot.


19. For PMP appraisals, Objectives with attachments can be copied into the
appraisal from scorecards of other workers. Under the attachments item created
in step 9 above, relevant entity maps, primary key and category maps have to
be created. Given below are the personalization screen shots to display such
attachments when appraisals are completed.

20. Create an Entity Map as indicated in the below screenshot.


21. Define the Primary Key as indicated in the below screen shot.

Similar personalization can be done to view appraisal attachments in the


Employee Self-Service responsibility.
