Procedures
Start with a Prayer.
Introductory  Start the lesson by letting them create their own personal timeline.
 Let them draw the timeline horizontal, vertical, diagonal or even using ups and
Activity down depending on their imagination.
15 mins  They will think of a title for their personal timeline which includes the name of
a person important to them.
Question:
1. Who are/were the most significant people in your life? How did they influence
you?
2. Identify the turning points of your timeline.
3. If you will give a title for your timeline, what would it be and why?

 Divide the class into 5 groups


 Task each group to analyze the picture

Activity
10 minutes

 What idea or idea/s come into your mind about the picture shown?
Analysis  Each group will present in front and explain their idea/s.
10 mins (Pick a reporter from your group to present the work in front after 5 minutes.))
Abstraction  The teacher will do the discussion on the following: (refer to LM pp.17-18)

Ask:
10 mins 1.In what developmental stage you belong to?
2. After identifying the developmental stage that you belong to, cite the roles and its
importance and the characteristics/attitude true to this stage.

 After all have passed their tasks, let the students go back to their original
seating arrangement and let them prepare 1 whole sheet of paper
Application  Create your own timeline on the developmental stages based on the
7 mins discussion.(Refer to the rubrics for Performance-Based Output)
 Prepare a ¼ sheet of paper to do the assessment.

Short Test:
1. Foundation age when basic behavior are organized and many ontogenetic
maturation skill are develop.(Infancy)
2. Gang and creativity age when self-help skills, social skills, school skills, and play
are develop ( Late Childhood)
Assessment 3. Transition age when adjustment to initial physical and mental decline are

4. Retirement age when increasingly rapid physical and mental decline are

5. Age of hereditary endowments and sex are fixed and all body features, both
external and internal are developed ( Pre-natal)
