MISSIONARY REPORT 02
By Rev. Mario J Carneiro
This past weekend we went to a historic region that belonged to the Cahokians. The
location is in the state of Illinois and in this low-income residential area there are poor
families where we were able to minister to some local residents.
We gathered at TMAC in Saint Louis, Missouri where Pastor Latunya Farr's who is the
head of the church invited us for this missionary mobilization. We helped carrying,
packing and loading food bags and then we head out on a small convoy to Illinois. We
started the operation at 11am by knocking on doors and offering free food and prayer.
We were able to distribute to about 25 families. We found that 3 families were in a
desperate situation and we were able to “save” the situation of these families. Only 9
families accepted prayer and 3 families gave us the opportunity to preach the Gospel.
Some of these families have reconciled with God and intend to attend church. The
church has a 15-seater van that can carry anyone requesting transportation. About 21
people attended this evangelistic event. I had several opportunities to pray, evangelize,
and minister good will in the lives of those residents. It was a blessing. We have made
important connections that will surely be of great benefit very soon.
Our prayer request: a) that we may fulfill the Lord's purpose; b) that we may be
protected in this place and in all of our activities; c) we may win many souls to the
Lord.
I do all things for the sake of the gospel, so that I may become a fellow partaker of it.
