Twenty-fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time

Greeting of peace. We have a number of notable events coming up…

Saturday, September 21. On this date, we begin new Saturday hours. We open at 8:30am instead of 5:30am on
Saturdays. The other 6 days of the week, we will continue to be open at 5:30am.

Saturday, Sept. 28-Sunday, Sept. 29. The Boston Archdiocesan Propagation of the Faith Collection. Visitors preach at

experiences of living and serving with the Catholic Church in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Rostro de Cristo is a Catholic
mission program helping to extend Church’s ministry and mission to some of our most marginalized communities. This
program was founded in 1989 by Fr. James Ronan, a priest from the Archdiocese of Boston and pastor at St. Mary-St.
Catherine of Siena parish in Charlestown. Rostro de Cristo supports and trains young adults from the United States who
dedicate a year to living a life of service, faith and community as volunteer missionaries. A second collection on this
date (originally scheduled to be for the Arch St. Band) will be taken in support of this missionary activity. Their website
is www.rostrodecristo.org.
