Lesson Plan in Practical Research II (Grade 12)

July 29- 30, 2019

I. OBJECTIVES
A. Content Standard: The learner demonstrates understanding of:
1. the criteria in selecting, citing, and synthesizing related literature.
2. The ethical standards in writing related literature.
3. The formulation of conceptual framework.
4. The research hypothesis (if appropriate).
5. The definition of terms in the study.
B. Performance Standard: The learner is able to:
1. select , cite, and synthesize judiciously related literature and use sources according to ethical
standards.
2. Formulate clearly conceptual framework, research hypothesis (if appropriate) ,and define terms in
study
3. present objectively written review of related literature and conceptual framework.

C. Learning Competency: The learner illustrates and explain conceptual framework. CS-

II. SUBJECT MATTER:


a. Content: What is a Conceptual Framework?
b. References :Quantitative Research A Practical Approach for Senior High School, Amorado , Ronnie,
et.al(2017), pp.78-81
c. Materials:powerpoint presentation , pictures ,
d. Value Focus: Teamwork , Social Awareness
e. Unlocking of Diffculties: Conceptual Framework

III.PROCEDURE

A. Activity
a.1 Pre – Activity
• Prayer
• Checking of Attendance
• Review of Previous Lesson ( ask some questions about the different literature learning
styles)
• Motivation – Ask Question (What will happen to a building if there is no plan upon
construction?)
a.2 Activity Proper
(Day 1)
• Divide the class into three groups.
• Each group will be given 15 minutes to finish the given task.
• After the alloted time, one representative per group shall be called to present their
output.
(Day 2)
• Each group will make their own conceptual framework of their approved title.
B. ANALYSIS
• Comprehensively discuss through powerpoint presentation conceptual framework and
its importance to research.

C. ABSTRACTION
Each group will illustrate their own conceptual framework out of their approved title.

D. APPLICATION
Make a visual or schematic conceptual framwork using the following variables : career choices, career
options , educational background , personal interests, individual skills, and peer pressure as variables .
You can decide on how you want to connect one variable to another, depending on what you want to
show as your hypothetical research study.

I. EVALUATION
The students will be evaluated based on their output of conceptual framework.

Definition of terms in research are the main concepts or variables of the study , and they
need to be measurable. The definition actualy means operational definition of terms to underscore their
measurable usage in the study.

Supply the following concepts , ideas or variables with possible operational or measurable definitions.

IV. EVALUATION
In a group , list down all the possible definition of terms in their approved title and write the
operational definition.
