Events for Amazing (Moon Guard)

DISCLAIMER: All of these events are dependant on group size, staff size and are subject to being
manipulated to accommodate both. The rules and guidelines can be tweaked by the staff to
make events more fun, more strict or more viable. I am always open to suggestion, ideas and
brainstorming. These events are free enterprise, use them to your hearts content and make
them better!

Quick events (1-3 time a week events)

Musical Death Chairs: Players will group together in a small house (where camera angle is
skewed constantly) where there are only a small amount of chairs. Music will be played in
discord. While music is playing, players must stay in constant motion and run around the chairs.
When the music is stopped, the players will try to occupy the available chairs. The players that
accomplish getting into a chair must fight to the death to be king of musical death chairs. It will
be a free for all (battle royal) among the remaining players.

Scrap Machine Slots: This event requires a little prep and level 110+. The rules are similar to
vegas roulette, if you can compare these. Players will gather enough items to fill a scrap machine
in Boralus (9 items). Each profession has its easy green items to make, we will require that only
green items can be placed in the scrap slots to even out the expulsom drop rate. 2+ players will
load there items into the machine, scrap at the same time and the winner will be determined by
the player that gets the most expulsom. Each player can place a bet on how much expulsom they
get. If they bet on the correct amount, there bet is doubled. If they bet incorrectly, they lose the
gold (and it is put into the guild bank). The players can bet against eachother, I.E.: I would bet my
oppenent gets 0 expulsom. If he gets 0, my bet is doubled and returned to me. You can place a
bet on your play and the opposing players bet, I.E.: I would bet my opponent gets 0 expulsom
and I get one. If he gets 0 and I get 1, both bets are doubled and returned to me. If he gets 1 and
i get 1, my bet is doubled and the bet against him is lost. If he gets 1 and I get 0, both bets are
lost.

This event in particular may take some refining but hopefully you get the gist of it with this
explanation. I think if we blew it up with a little RP flare (Welcome to Morrs Vegas style Scrap
Machine Slots game! Try your hand at making it big! Bet against your friends, bet against your
enemies, bet against some guy you barely know! It's all fun at games at this casino!) it would
gain some traction.
Bumfights: For this event, players must wear all greay items. No exceptions. Players will have to
be monitored constantly to avoid cheating (thus, the duels should be kept to 1v1, not free for all,
2v2, etc.). They will duel in these "bum" outfits and the winner of each duel will move on in a
bracket style tournament. The victor will be crowned champion of the bumfights.

Glider Olympics: This is an event for everyone of all levels. Players will be supplied one goblin
glider kit. They will gather at a pre-designated location, preferably a cliff or mountain that is
accesible by even the lowest lowbie. At this point, if it is a large group, they will all jump off of
the cliff towards yet another pre-determined spot on lower ground. The player to land the
furthest from the initial launch area is the victor. For smaller groups, one person will launch at a
time. There will need to be an event staff member at the launch and another at the landing site.
No other skills can be used during the glide (no mage blink, no DH double jump or fel rush, etc.)

Pet Battle Extravaganza: Similar to the PvP tournaments, this will be set up as a bracket style
tournament. Players will bring their best pets and battle it out to reach the top of the bracket
and be king of the extravaganza. To keep this event a little interesting, think about awesome
locations (Islands in the sky in Nagrand, the airstrip next to ironforge, etc.)

Hide and Seek: Just your average, run of the mill hide and seek with the event staff or a player of
their choosing. The chosen person will hide somewhere in the world (of warcraft). They will give
10 clues to their whereabouts. Obviously, the clues will start vague and get more revealing. I.E:
Clue number 1: Search for me in outland.....clue number 10: some have attained a mount called
"ashes of alar" inside of this place i am walking outside of. The last clue should almost always be
a dead giveaway (unless you want it to take hours). The chosen person cannot be inside
dungeons, raids etc. If you want it to be an all levels playable event, consider the low level areas
with good hiding spots. The first person to find the chosen person will be the winner. Keep in
mind, players will track you within the guild or by shift clicking your name, so be creative and
clever.

Weekly Events

Item Level Progession Week: Reward the player with the most item level jumps (at level 120+) at
the end of the week. They must have a screenshot (dated) submitted to one of the event staff at
the beginning of the week. Then submit another updated screenshot with their item level jump
at the end of said week. The player with the most item levels gained will be the victor.

Hide and Seek Extreme: The same as hide and seek except a lot more difficult clues, something
that could possibly take a week to figure out. This is done by picking a discreet location where an
event staffs alt will stay at, logged in or out. The players will search for the area, rather than just
the character, if the character is currently logged in. They will submit screenshots of the area
they believe to be the area the clues lead to in a private PM on discord. The first person to find
the area wins the event for the week.

Gathering for Gold: Players 120+ will be given a certain item in need for the guild (leather,
potions, ore, etc.) The player with the most contribution (tracked by the guild bank log) at the
end of the week will be the victor. This benefits both the guild and the player (with whatever
reward the event staff deems necessary).

The Rarest Rare: The player that obtains the rarest item of the week (Meaning seriously rare,
ashes of alar, mount off of baron, rare archaeology items etc.) wins the reward at the end of the
week. Rarity can be determined through wowhead and other similar sources. A screenshot,
dated, must be provided to prove the item was acquired during the event week.

Rewards:

As always cash is king. Cash in game being gold and usually considerable amounts of gold.

If we want to get a little more crazy, we can do 5, 10 and 20 dollar gift cards (amazon, wal mart,
barnes and noble etc.). They can be obtained by people willing to chip in via paypal or other
means that wont put anyone in a bind or crappy siutation. They can then be sent electronically
via a guild email with a VPN so nobody is put at risk for malicious activity.

Pets, toys and mounts are also an option.

Raid items (bulk potions, flasks etc) are another option that are useful for raiding (obviously) or
they can choose to sell it on the AH.
Guild coupons can be given out via discord. I.E.: One free dungeon run, one free arena carry etc.
