The Book Of John John 4:16-20

Jesus said to her, “Go, call your husband, and come here.” The woman answered Him, “I have no
husband.” Jesus said to her, “You are right in saying, ‘I have no husband; for you have had five
husbands, and the one you now have is not your husband. What you have said is true.” The woman
said to Him, “Sir, I perceive that you are a prophet. Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, but
you say that in Jerusalem is the place where people ought to worship.”

There’s a Word for that! Confess

What a promise! God is faithful to forgive our sins and to cleanse us. Why wait to confess?

1 John 1:9– If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us
from all unrighteousness.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Your gracious forgiveness is hard to
comprehend. Your Word assures us that if we
confess ours sins You are faithful to forgive us
and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Lord,

none of us want unrighteousness in our lives as

we impact the next generation. Help us Lord to
be cleansed daily so that Your righteousness can
shine through us. You are so good to us. Thank
You. We ask in the righteous name of Jesus.
