Super Plasticizing Admixture

INTRODUCTION : AC-PLAST-BV-M4-2M is a special blend

of Sulphonated Naphthaline Polymer and Organic
mineral. It is conforming to IS-9103-1999&
ASTM-C-494 Type G & F. The basic product has
got an ability to give outstanding results for higher
grade concrete to get tailor-made products. The
product exposes large surface areas to hydration
process leading to increase in strength or to
produce higher workability or to reduce cement
content or to reduce setting time, depending upon
the design requirements.
AC-PLAST-BV-M4-2M is formulated to give
water reduction from 15 to 20% & above.

FIELD OF APPLICATION : AC-PLAST-BV-M4-2M and its modified

products are recommended for pumpable
concrete for all types of structural work. The
product is also recommended for precast and
prestressed structures. The product is
recommended for higher, early and
ultimate strength with advantage of reduced
water content. The product is best
recommended for concrete with blended cement
and also fly ash, cement blended mixes.
 DOSES : The doses suggested is 300 ml to 1000 ml per
bag of 50 kg cement as per the design mix
requirement. Max. dosage can be 2.5% for Fly
ash mixes or that mineral additives. The product
dose can bbe adjusted as per the requirement of
higher slump, higher strength or higher
impermeability.
 Dispensing : The designed quantity of
AC-PLAST-BV-M4-2M should be added
with the gauging water in batching plants.
Use of dispenser is recommended.
 Over dose : Higher dose recommended will
lead to retardation in setting time and
possibility of segregation. Ultimate strength
may not be hampered with over dosage.

PRECAUTIONS & HEALTH SAFETY :

 The material is non-toxic and contact with
eyes should be avoided.
 Wash eyes with clean cold water incase of
accidents and seek medical help.
 The material is non flammable. Some people
may have skin irritation.
