PAMANTASAN NG LUNGSOD NG VALENZUELA

JUNIOR PHILIPPINE INSTITUTE OF ACCOUNTANTS

National Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants-National Capital Region,


in cooperation with KPMG R.G. Manabat and Co., as hosted by Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng
Valenzuela, will be having this year’s Academic Conference-North on October 17, 2018 to be held
at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Valenzuela Auditorium, Maysan Campus.

1. There will be a maximum of 500 delegates to attend the event coming from different
colleges/universities. The delegates shall be wearing corporate attire.
2. Registration for the delegateEs will be at the Fifth Floor of the Student Center Building of
Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Valenzuela, Maysan Campus. The assembly area of the
delegates will be on the Fourth Floor of the Student Center Building to be accompanied by
the ushers. The school administration, faculty members, maintenance staff and security
guards in the campus shall be informed of the said event.
3. Marshalls shall be the ones responsible for the crowd control and assistance of the
delegates while inside the campus.
4. The delegates shall be advised of the do’s and don’ts to be followed inside the campus for
their safety and convenience.
5. The delegates shall be advised to buy meal from the school canteen for they are only
allowed to leave the school premises once the event is done. The school canteen will
provide enough number of seats for the delegates. Those delegates with packed lunch are
also advised to consume their meals in the school canteen and in the available tables in
front of the school buildings. The school canteen shall also be informed of the upcoming
event for them to prepare with the expected number of delegates.
6. Signage shall be posted in order for the delegates to be directed with the school’s facilities.
(Ex. Comfort Room, Canteen, Auditorium)
7. Excuse letters shall be provided for the working committees who have classes on the day
of the event.
8. A walkthrough shall be done in the venue a day before the actual event.
9. PLV Auditorium has been chosen to be the venue of the event to promote one of the city’s
pride — the world-class public university.
10. The working committees shall be responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of the
school facilities before and after the event.
11. Parking lots for those who will come in private vehicles (speakers, guests, etc.) shall be
provided.

The things listed above shall be observed with regard to the conduct of Academic
Conference-North 2018. Thank you!
